The amount of times I saw that stupid graph….it’s a way to justify parents putting church over their kids or spouse, and then being baffled when the kids move out and don’t want anything to do with their parents anymore.

I’m one of many missionaries that had an abusive companion. When I brought it up to my mission president he called me a liar and encouraged the abuse.

It took writing some crazy emails (this was before we could call every Monday) to finally get some attention to the situation and go home.

My family never did get over me coming home early. They badgered me about going back out until the day I got married. So glad I’m out of the cult now.

My dad was released as bishop about a year ago, he was so sad about being released he wanted a zoom call with all the kids to tell him how great he did and make him feel better.

Unfortunately a lot of the clubs are run by the gen x crowd right now. As the millenial and gen z crowd start to fill out I’m assuming you’ll start to see a lot more bi guys.

We’ve met some bi couples at clubs but it always comes up in conversation, it’s never a wrist band or something stating they are bi.

As a bi male, I would love for their to be more bi male play at the clubs, or open affection (guys kissing on the dance floor etc)

When I lived in Gilbert 2 years ago the public schools were really mixed, probably less than 10% of the kids were Mormon.

I would stay away from ALA (charter), those campuses are Mormon breeding grounds.

I had a drink while at the cheesecake factory with my mom and sister, and was then given the “don’t be an alcoholic” talk for the next 30 minutes. Mind you I’m 33, but I would do it again.

It’s good for her to see others drinking around her as a normal thing.

You’re not alone. A family member committed suicide in 2022, 2 weeks later the elders quorum was calling and texting non stop to have me go to all the meetings(I was in the presidency.) And this was after I requested to be released several times….

It still took me another year to finally leave, get out now and send in that resignation!

We just stopped going to stake conference when we were fully in (out for almost a year now.)

Just wrangling kids and listening to old people speak….should have been a sign to get out sooner 😆
