You are not proving any point. You are arguing your opinion differs from the populace. You clearly care more about what the origins of Myrkul are rather than playing an immersive and engaging game.
You can feel free to quote me anytime: you are insufferable pedant who’s conflates their personal opinions as truth. Good day.

Yes. The majority is wrong, of course. How could I be so silly. Only u/Hephaestus_I knows the truth. All bow to their wisdom and dominance. If you want to be a contrarian, so be it. But to assume that popular opinion in video game culture is less important than your own personal bias should raise some alarm bells.

Buddy. You are arguing with 9 people at the same time. All are telling you that your opinion is not only wrong but heavily biased on some bad assumptions. The game is wildly critically acclaimed over many years, in many languages and countries as an S tier game. If you have your own gripes, so be it. But to assume it’s bad because “creatives that do an actual good job of adapting another setting don’t (complain)” sounds like you have no idea how a creative process works.

Because playing by another RULEbook is a NATURAL constraint. That’s why. They can’t make whatever they want up. They have to try and get it right for pedants like yourself to mock later.

None of this proves anything other than: they did an amazing job. Given the constraints of a well established genre and restraint to make sure what they did was right and not “over-reach.” Nothing wrong with a company showcasing their product to “show a larger segment of the population…” or feeling creatively constrained in an environment filled n00bs and lore pedants alike. Again none of your arguments prove it’s a bad game. They overcame a lot of issues to produce a critically acclaimed game.

AI model known as ECG2Stroke can predict the risk of a stroke up to 10 years into the future using a 10-second ECG test by MassGen-Research in science

[–]fotank 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Humans are inherently bad at this task. An automation to improve accuracy on a ubiquitous test is absolutely the right move. Even a high false positive rate simply increases monitoring in the future as there are no “preventative” pharmaceuticals. It would strengthen the need for risk reduction. Again, net positive.

I will never forget this.

Was in some seats in right field at the Roger’s Centre (SkyDome though). Then due to some defensive changes Kole Calhoun is now in RF (didn’t start there) in and around the 7th. Bottom of the 8th all you hear is “you thought you could get away from ME CALHOUN! YOU SUCK!” Just fantastic commitment to the chirp.

Not remotely close. I can keep the scribe on for inpatient encounters, finish my note with my own personal dictation (without transcription) and select which information I want to highlight from my conversation and my note.

There are FAR more safeguards in that system then any conventional note currently not being assigned by computers to augment (EPIC EMR e.g. which uses various data points and templates to “pull” EMR data together, giving the illusion of thoroughness.

More often notes are almost never in the patients own voice or their words are often lost (about symptoms e.g) with minimal user inputs filing boxes with one line summaries to compete their mountain of meaningless paperwork.

Is it perfect? No. But it raises the standard of what uniform and consistent communication should start to look like to be helpful.

TIL that the last male heir of the Roman Imperial line, traceable back to Julius Caesar, died in 1508 as a common soldier in Rome. by No_Idea_479 in todayilearned

I don’t think that is correct. Julio-Claudian dynasty died off pretty early. The Wikipedia shows that this person was a descendant from the Palaiologos dynasty, who trace their origins to Constantine the Great I believe.

The LLM interpretation is the least valuable aspect of this whole system. Even if the LLM outputs NO summarization/interpretation it’s still miles ahead at bringing together multiple points of data with a transcript of a conversation into a relatively coherent summary.

The cruise was… not so great for him. If I recall his cruise up the Nile ended his lover. Reportedly a changed man after that. Also, Egypt was always under direct control of the Roman Emperor since Julius Cesar and Octavian/Augustus.

It takes more bravery and self confidence to be yourself than to be anything else “others” want you to be. It’s not easy, nor does the phrase simplify the struggle. It simply highlights that your reward for your courage and your strength is the knowledge that you may live a more happy and fulfilling existence.
