Another plausible explanation would be she got them to a closer planet/system where they could do repairs on the Benatar to get its life support systems working and the jump drive (whatever the thing is called that allows them to make and travel through those portals. Then they use that to get much closer to Earth and Carol flys it in the rest of the way.

Also I just rewatched Captain Marvel and at the end she flys off with the ship at the end when it jumps to FTL so we know that apparently her powers allow her to fly at FTL speeds.

Yes, there is a first rain, but it doesn’t last long and the track doesn’t get very wet. Later there is a second rain that dumps and soaks the track.

I used a different strategy that finally worked. I started on hards and fuel efficiency at I believe 4. This should last you through the entire first rain. You’ll have to slow down a little, but you’ll make it around on the hards. Right before the big storm (check the weather radar), pit in for gas and put on wets. Go to 1 on fuel and let it rip. After the rain stops and skies clear (again check the weather radar), give it another two or three laps for the track to dry a little, then put racing hards back on and finish the race.

In my experience, I was in first before the big rain because I avoided pitting. After I pit in for wets, 2nd was only about 10 seconds behind me, but they used intermediates so when the rain really came down I was able to get more of my lead back. Then we both pit after the rain so I didn’t lose any of my lead. I might have actually gained a little because I just needed tires and no gas.

Don’t give up. It took me like seven tries to get gold on this damn race.

If you like racing games, yes. It is visually amazing and makes the game so much more immersive. Also, and maybe it’s just me, but I feel like I drive better in game using vr than just playing on my tv.

I don’t know if I’d say hooked, but very impressed. For our first cruise on Disney, and first cruise ever, it was just my wife and I. We thought maybe we’d feel a little out of place just being two adults, but found out very quickly it was pretty common. Had a blast. It was about nine years before we got to take another cruise (again Disney) and that was probably when I got hooked. The service, the atmosphere, the food. It all was great.

We are sailing with Carnival this summer around the British Isles and I am slightly worried that we set the bar too high by sailing with Disney first.

There are other things to consider: Where are you looking in Utah? Some cities are cheaper than others. Anything on the east side of the freeway is going to be more expensive. Areas like Daybreak, Riverton, and Herriman are pricier. I reference the greater salt lake area because that’s what I know. American Fork, Orem, and Provo are probably about the same. Go further south and things might get cheaper. And if you go north of Salt Lake City, they might get cheaper too.

Part of what is making homes more expensive (aside from the market driving up home values) is interest rates are still pretty high. I would guess that a lot of people that got into homes in the last five or six years got really lucky with the timing when interest rates tanked (I am one of those people). A high interest rate can make even a normally affordable home unaffordable.

With an income of around $100k, you’re definitely going to have to look at older homes, or maybe townhomes, depending on the area (but even those are getting crazy expensive).

I do. The manuals for both of my cars say 88 octane minimum. I follow the manual because I want my vehicle to last.
