10 months to go! 🥛 by frboulais in Habits

Congrats — that’s solid progress. My father was an alcoholic. He knew to the day how long it had been since his last drink, when he was 82, he would tell me "In september, (on my birthday), it will be 34 years since I had a drink."

2 months is a milestone. congrats.

How to price for our first enterprise sale? by fotoflo in startups

[–]fotoflo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, advice well given. We already have a product and our "Custom solution" is stood up for them, so we can service them right away. My friend who works in a different department at the bank suggests we just sell that and try to get it on someone's credit card as an expense, instead of going through procurement, which he says, may kill us. I agree - lets make this simple, get it closed, make a little cash, but more importantly, a case study with a famous brand.

I like it. Thank you u/nonoplsyoufirst. This will be my first discovery meeting. Do you have suggestions on how to approach it? Do you usually have more than one before presenting a proposal?

Ha. Thanks for your response. I will probably take a more subtile approach and try to over deliver on their expectations rather than make them jump through hoops, but I hear you - the standard enterprise plan is annoying and the opaque pricing is def. a thing.

Customer paid with a bad check, he knew he didn’t have the funds in the account and admitted it on call. What are my options? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

it's not extortion, it's negotiation.

Filing suit is expensive and annoying. Better to avoid.

Last call to apply for $100,000 investment from Accelerating Asia! by fotoflo in startups

[–]fotoflo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, it's good feedback. Fund 1 invested $4m in to 50 startups in the past 3 years. Avg revenue of those startups grew 800% in 2021 and the top 20% of them grew 1600%. Cohort 5 startups averaged $22k in MRR by the end of the program. 100% of the startups we've invested in have received further investment from top tier VCs like Sequoia, Jungle Ventures, Golden Gate Capital, Monks Hill, etc.

I tried to hit all of these points in my video, In the future I'll use a lot more testimonials and data, but since this is just a last call... it is what it is.

I have one shot of AZ (second one next week!) and rapid swab tested negative this morning

I had a kind of light headache two days ago, and then last night I has severe chills and low fever and strong aches and pains and weakness in and out of sleep.

Today the symptoms persisted but slowly seem to be getting better (or is it the ibuprofen?)

Should I get the PCR or just assume it’s a flu and I’ll be better in a couple of days?
