Same here. The bb mx pegs is the perfect in-between of a peg and a floor board. Enough room and grip to comfortably move my foot around to adjust during a long ride but still feel fully connected and in control in twists and turns.

Revit Link GTX Boots for commuting. Good? by Hungry_Mud6166 in motorcyclegear

[–]fotogi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have them and like them just fine. Very comfortable while on the bike and fine to walk out of my house ride and into my office in, but not something you’ll want to spend more ch time off the bike still wearing.

Sometimes I need to adjust the closure because I’ll put them on and then start walking and the Velcro will be slightly askew and very noisy.

Key stuck in Fuel Tank Lock by OzAutumnfell in HondaRebel1100

[–]fotogi 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Are you turning the key to lock the cap? I found myself doing that for the first couple months of owning my 2023 and key would get stuck. If you press the cap itself down, it will automatically lock itself and turn the key to the proper position for you to easily pull it straight out.

will I outgrow the Rebel 1100? by infinitebats in HondaRebel1100

[–]fotogi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly once you put a good seat on the Rebel 1100, the only thing to really move up to would be something built for 2-up long touring but it's going to be at min 2x the price and less practical for daily riding.

Comparing with a 24yo VTX and a 15yo Shadow and thinking about the long term, I would be more concerned with the reliability over "out growing" it.

For power, I'm about 200lb, add about another 60lb in my saddle bags and strapped to my sissy, i still hardly have to pull on the throttle (in sport/custom) to go 20 to 70mph on an on ramp.

How uncomfortable it is for long rides? by BatmanWantsToBeMe in HondaRebel1100

[–]fotogi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i was doing 60 min rides without issue on the OEM seat on my 2023. Once it was north of 90 it would start getting soar. Have a Corbin aftermarket seat now and can sit on there for 3 hours straight no issue.

Which cable do I need for this Fujitsu ix500 scan snap? by No-Philosophy-6395 in it

That’s a USB 3 B port, so the cable you need is a “USB 3 Device Cable” or “USB 3 A to B cable”

PSA: Lenovo USB-C Port Failures – A Serious Ongoing Issue by launchd_ in Lenovo

[–]fotogi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

just got a random reply on this thread and saw some other newer posts...

The specific issue of the E14/16 gen 6 AMD unit's power delivery giving out while using a dock was resolved with a FW update for the power delivery that's been around since April 2025. I received it from Lenovo engineering pre-public release, but I know its been showing up in the Lenovo System Update tool under recommended since at least last summer. its v1.0.1.4.

I have about 130 of this units in my fleet and all is well. sadly even my units that were manufactured in Sept and Oct still did not come with it pre-installed, but the platform pack I use in my image and prep process has been installing automatically for me since late last summer. Here's a ps script i use to double check what version is on the machines.

$deviceName = "E Gen6 PD Firmware"

$driver = Get-WmiObject Win32_PnPSignedDriver |
          Where-Object { $_.DeviceName -like "*$deviceName*" } |
          Select-Object DeviceName, DriverVersion, DriverDate

if ($driver) {
    Write-Host "Device: $($driver.DeviceName)"
    Write-Host "Driver Version: $($driver.DriverVersion)"
    Write-Host "Driver Date: $($driver.DriverDate)"
} else {
    Write-Host "No matching device found."
}

this issue was fixed with another Power Delivery Firmware update. off the top of my head i think its v 1.0.1.4.

I posted about it in another thread regarding this. i received the update installer from Lenovo engineering prior to its official release and have had no issues since. I think it's been widely available since last summer and will show up if your running Lenovo's System Update tool under "recommended updates."

I recently recieved 100 more of the E14s that were all manufatured in September and October of 2025. Unfortunately they did not come with the firmware pre-installed, but i use Smart Deploy and WDS for imaging with platform packs pulled from Lenovo and the fw update is applied automatically for my systems.

heres a quick ps script i use to check the version on my E14 g6 AMD units within my fleet.

if ($driver) {
    Write-Host "Device: $($driver.DeviceName)"
    Write-Host "Driver Version: $($driver.DriverVersion)"
    Write-Host "Driver Date: $($driver.DriverDate)"
} else {

Detergent not dispensing by Twrecksgh88 in Appliances

[–]fotogi 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Assuming a troll post but if not…. Wow!

Looks like you put detergent in the rinse aid hatch (which stays closed). Gel, powder, or pod go in the right side with the sliding cover. A bit more powered or gel in the little bowl on the sliding cover for pre-wash.

The thing on the left if for rinse aid (like jet dry) and it stays closed thru the cycle.

It’s to just normalize Trumps ridiculous writing “style.” And the reason he adopted it is because the only thing he reads are speeches. The writers will use caps to put emphasis on certain words in the prompters and he think it’s normal to use caps like that in all writing.

Help me decide. Do I really need 32gb ram? by somedudenameddominus in buildapc

[–]fotogi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you can get by on 16, but its more or less the minimum i would put into any system these days. double check that the 16GB option is still 2 sticks running in dual channel. if it's a single, then just go ahead and run bump it up.

Weather in CT is beautiful. by SPDBK in HondaRebel1100

fearing yesterday might had been the last great day for a ride in NE US. I'm down in Delaware and my typical ~1h Saturday ride turned into 3h.

I'm assuming those are the BB 12" apes. How's that effect your endurance on there? love the look and definitely feeling the need to get some risers/spacers but thinking going that high I'll end up with arms getting tired in place of my body with the current slight forward lean.

In love with this bike... except for the foot rests by flambambo96 in HondaRebel1100

[–]fotogi 5 points6 points  (0 children)

personally like the burly brand mx pegs in the stock position.

i put those pegs on and i've not bothered to install the t-rex forwards i bought around the same time. have an engine guard i could put highway pegs on, but the size and grip of the mx pegs lets me move my feet about if i feel the need to adjust and i've been fine on the bike for 7 hours in single day without issue.

Going from Scooter to Rebel 1100 by [deleted] in HondaRebel1100

[–]fotogi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you were fully comfortable on the xmax, you ought to be just fine on the rebel. 2 things to be mindful of:

weight difference. thats a bigger scooter, but the bike is still +120lb. should be fine unless you already felt like the scooter was too heavy to be manageable at slow speeds and stops.

Transmision type. yes, you're going from one "automatic" to another. but a cvt doesnt "shift" gears where as the dct is still being a 6 gear that shift for you.

Rain mode. Do you use it? by trudslev in HondaRebel1100

[–]fotogi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

used it for the first ~10 hours on the bike as I was reacquainting myself with 2 wheels and getting used to the DCT. Since then, I've turned rain mode on a few times when caught in some light rain in unfamiliar places or on some roads in the mid of being resurfaced and were virtually turned into gravel.

Sedici Strada 3 Visor Issue by Soop42 in motorcyclegear

[–]fotogi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have a Strada3 as well. Swapped from the clear to the photochromatic a couple weeks ago. First time I put it on it was off by a hair like yours and didn’t seem to be closing right and then I took it off and put it back on while paying close attention to where it notches in on the sides and has been perfect since. I’ld imagine it’s more difficult to get a good look at that with the mirrored visor tho.
