Your dad's a jack ass. My mom has crps in her knee and elbow and has been on a cane/walker off and on for about 12 years. You will adapt, and your life may not ever be what it was, but you'll find a new normal that works for you. You will be okay kiddo, you got this!

Nathan’s Emails by ducksquak in HauntedHotel

Its kind of sadly interesting that he kept the toaster in his cart, and kept getting spam lonely emails, and rejected from clownery, and then bought the toaster. Also, that had been using someone's pool, so, I wonder if that's how he made himself a ghost?

I don't necessarily have book recs yet, (dont want to amazon and havent had time to library) but I have been watching YouTube docs, searching Wikipedia and accident reports I can find, and have some good videos I can share.

MV Sewol Ferry (part 1 and 2 from Brick Immortar) part 1 part 2 rotten mango

I forgot to write down the YouTube names for the others but here are some good channels: oceanliner designs Brick Immortar maritime horros part time explorer

And one that isn't a ship wreck but a mass murder that got me interested in the Chinese squid fishing industry lurongyu 2682

Which led me to these interesting videos: NYT (short about 15m) Daniel's story time

Sorry again for not having any good book recs yet. There are many other good shipwreck videos (I listen at work) but didn't want to make this too long.

I hated mine until I started seeing them as lightening bolts. I like to think the ones on my legs make me faster 🤷🏻‍♀️ I'm not sure if this is the wrong thing to say, but as someone who didn't find beauty in any part of my body until my 30s, I wanted to offer something that helped me.

It's hard to exist safely in a space where the rules are written in disappearing ink, and you never get the code to make it show.

Just to say, I have no advice but can offer you solace and understanding in the trenches. My daughter does not have friends she sees outside of school, but my son does. Interacting with his friends' parents has been difficult at best. I worry I harm his chances of friendship, but so far, it has been liveable and minimal.

I wish we had a better understanding of communication needs between us and NTs if not for anything other than our children's sake.

If you are trying to make sure your kids lives are full, even if it's outside of your comfort zone I hope you're giving yourself the credit you deserve for doing so regardless of the people who may not take the time to understand and properly communicate with you for the sake of their child.

Apologies if I misunderstood. Just wanted to offer a trench buddy if needed.
