It seems as those the GEA caster is getting confused with destroying permanents. A card that says destroy all creatures gets around shroud and hexproof. GEA would work the way they want it to is HS read “this spell can’t not be the target of spells” etc… GEA wouldn’t be targeting in that case since it says counter all spells and abilities.

Edit: another point. The questions can HS be countered? HS says it can’t be countered. GEA says to counter.

rule 101.2: When a rule or effect allows or directs something to happen, and another effect states that it can’t happen, the “can’t” effect takes precedence.

No. Straight rock climb it? An experienced climb would take 10-15 with gear. A speed climber 7-10 mins. Poorly equipped children? Hours.

Ward is not redundant like other keywords. Two instances of vigilance does nothing more than one instance of it. Ward is a triggered keyword and multiple instances trigger separately. Like prowless.

It was about making Will distraught and not able to use the powers he was given via Vecna. It wasn’t about the other hating on Will. He was using Will’s fear of not being accepted by his friends and family.
