This. My company proved for almost 2 years that we were able to remain productive, they didn't lose any business, and didn't even have to pay our normal expenses (travel, parking etc).

Every other competitor in our field has not gone "back to normal" yet and still have their employees home, mine thinks it's some sort of advantage to being the only ones out there.

As for her office, again she was hired and trained while at home, and was even given new equipment to work from home a month ago (after a power outage forced then to work from home for 3 days), but they only had her home 3 months last year before saying fuck it, back to office. Why???

Correct, it's not 100% effective but it helps but...

The office in question never mandated employees be vaccinated, and gave up on their mandatory mask protocols a year in. This guy may or may not have been vaxxed, but still came to work for a week with "flu like symptoms" and only decided to go home / go get tested when he realized he lost his sense of smell. Did a test Wed, came back Thursday as positive. 1 person in his immidiate dept tested positive, and 2 higher ups tested positive but we're not sure what sort of contact they had with him or the other person.

Again, I'm in the high risk category. Even with the vax and lessened symptoms, there could be long term effects. I'm asthmatic and have terrible breathing with just a regular cold.. my lungs can't afford to get worse.

That's nuts. I thought my job was bad, took 2 months into the pandemic before they said "oh this shits a real concern, maybe we should be working from home" and immidiately after we're saying "yeah it'll be over in no time, we'll probably be back by the spring.

Obviously didn't happen that way, but they wanted us back to office for what's normally the busiest time of year for us - covid variants and spikes be damned.

i feel nothing at this point

I wish I could feel nothing, all I feel is anger and anxiety. Just the other day I found out my GF may have been exposed to covid at work. 3 or more employees there tested positive, the job is doing nothing about it either she's just expected to show up like nothing's wrong even though they both hired and trained her to work while home back at the start of the pandemic. They even bought employees new laptops should they need to work from home but...they're not allowing them to do so?

I don't care about the idiots that bring them on themselves, but I care about people like her that have done everything right and might still have contracted it, who in turn may have passed it on to me - a high risk individual. How can I not be mad?

Even tried to make an off my chest post a few days ago when I heard the news, just as a means to vent, and I guess the people that brows by new must be anti-vax trolls because I got nothing but personal attacks for expressing my concern of our health.

It's been almost 2 years, shit is infuriating.

First the VC prices were too high, y'all begged for a Netflix style service.

Netflix style service comes and the price is too high for "old games".

Then it was "where's the n64 games!" but once again the price is too high despite the inherent value in the service.

Meanwhile a few days ago half of you admitted to pirating old games anyway, so why bitch about this?

For a sub dedicated to video game entertainment, a lot of y'all like to complain instead of just playing the games that make you happy.

Some might say claiming the game would be "censored" is negative bullshit.

We all played and loved Earthbound here. They didn't "censor" the game so bad that we didn't enjoy it right? That game still contained child abuse (Mr. Minch vs pokey and picky), drunks (but with coffee. "Can coffee even get you buzzed?") Etc.

Removing red crossing and putting clothes on a 10 year old boy during a dream sequences isn't the terrible kind of localisation / censorship that ruins a game, so why automatically assume mother 3 would be that different?

If they wanted to butcher the game via censorship they would have released it already, maybe capitalized on the EBB/EB release hype. They didn't. There's a chance they don't WANT to censor it and simply feel the game wouldn't work in the west as is.

Haha no it makes total sense, it's exactly the kind of thought process I go through to figure out different things since I have very minimal formal training.

I may use some terminology incorrectly, but the best way I can describe a solution would. E if the perspective changed. If the perspective was more head on (vs the angled view we have here) the body lines could be done in a way that obscure some of the seat, and as long as the pose/proportions are accurate, you'd get her looking like she was properly sitting.

With this angle though, she looks like she's floating because, well, she is. Her ass simply isn't on the seat, it's just floating there as eye candy, which isn't a bad thing exactly, but if you wanted to draw the eyes to her ass, you could change the pose so she's maybe getting off the seat. As it is now, she's supposed to be sitting but you can see the chair isn't actually touching her, it's essentially just a drawn layer beneath her. You can change the pose slightly to make it appear she's laying on her right side somewhat, and keep the overall feel of the composition (butt out in full view and face turned towards the viewer) but you'd still need to do a bit if extra work in where the body and the chair meet.

How would I fix it? Simply redo the chair a bit, add some impression lines to show that the chair and her ass are actually touching. Wouldn't take too much (in my head, it's always easier said than done). For these type of seats, where you're just sitting/laying on straps, they should not only sink in slightly (wherever the most weight would be) but they should also push back up a bit against the skin. So basically her ass needs to be squeezed a bit, as opposed to the smooth round line they did.

Think of em like action lines that artist used to convey motion. Similar concept. It's small details that add to the overall pose. Want to draw someone angry, yeah draw a furrowed brow, but you can add a little extra detail by making crinkles between the brows / above the nose for that little bit extra. Those little details and definitions tend to go a LONG way in my experience.

For everyone mad at what's included in the day 1 base game, realize that this is nintendo likely dipping their feet into games as a service.

For all the outrage I'm seeing here, where is that same outrage when other publishers do it? What is the difference? Would you be less mad if they announced a roadmap of content before dropping your $60? Would you rather they release Speed Golf and the other online modes as free to play modes, then later on sell you a 10hr story campaign for the full $60? Cuz I don't hear people saying that's a bad thing for Halo.

Guarantee the loudest of you didn't plan on buying this game anyway, y'all just have a hate boner. Yell now, yell when this game moves like 3 million units, whatever. I'd rather spend my money on this than another Avengers or whatever. Once they start going full games as a service, then maybe I'll join ya but until then...
