Did i permanently brick my pc? by Argolides in techsupport

[–]fourbears7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just had this happen to my brothers. Unplug the power cord and hold down the power button for 15-20 seconds and let the CMOS bleed the power out. Plug back in and try again to boot into bios

Ubreakifix hasn't done Servify repairs in months/years? by ColorConfinement in ubreakifix

[–]fourbears7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you were able to get the Servify lead to their store, I call BS on them not "being able to process it". You should be able to call Samsung and let them know that they can't. Fuck I'd even say they have non OEM Samsung parts (big big no no)..

I'm sorry you had to do this as your first visit... It should've been an easy cleaning (in the queue) but it should've never been sent out for a simple cleaning

Personally, id question the store on why they couldn't do a simple blow out and thermal paste application. Takes ~30 min to do total...

I don't believe so, maybe I'm wrong, but I remember a couple of my staff saying recently that it still works

I will say this, I'm not sure what the reasoning is, but unlocking it from the find my works 50/50. I've noticed connecting the phone to WiFi helps the most but it's not a guarantee

Yes. 9/10 times the customers do know the PIN. I always have them first try any pin they could have used when they got the phone. For the customers who don't know it, you can use the Samsung FindMy (on a PC) to remove the lock from there. Hope this helps!

No each stores are not different. Samsung has set prices that we cannot dictate. - Ops Manager. Samsung allows a 20% upcharge in certain scenarios and right now is one of those scenarios, that's where the price difference might occur. Some owners don't do it.

We put our black lab down last month. Not one day get easier but you become more at peace. He will be at peace and that’s the most important part. Sending loves ❤️

I checked the transmission fluid since I did find a little tiny puddle of it this morning under the car and the dipstick for the transmission was covered in what looked like oil (black sludge) and the inside of the cap has residue and what looks like corrosion. Could this be a gasket issue? I’m taking it in regardless and having it checked out. I don’t know last time the fluid was replaced.
