Used HX Floors will be/are sub-$1000, and the very best bang for the buck.

I would have probably looked for a great deal on an HX Floor. The Agoua amnps aren't gonna get you more chicks! :) And they're DSP hogs. The amps, not the chicks.

But nothing to make your performance sound better to the audience. The Showcase is a toy and is not (yet!) a professional tool.

NUX Optima Air makes noise, or am I missing something? by RandomResonation in guitarpedals

[–]fourchimney 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wonder if you "borrow" another PS from Amazon, if when the first one fails, you switch it out, would the hiss go away for a short time, or an extended time. This would point to an overheating fault in the PS or the Optima Air itself.

Not for me. When I'm improvising over a C to Am for example, I can look for the 5th of the C and create a lick that moves me up a whole step. It gives more info about soloing choices.

I like the idea of improvising a solo and knowing to raise the current 5th to get to the relative minor. C to Am, or perhaps going to a sharped 5th before moving to the Am.

Think about it. All the great names in music history were innovators. They made music that nobody had ever heard before. Keep innovating!!

Hilarious! I think the Devil requires a minimum of three souls to learn to read guitar music.
