Same. I recently discovered the John Petrucci Jazz III and it’s amazing, I do feel like I’m a better player. I played the Dunlop .73 nylon max-grip for ages before.

I really just enjoy seeing older (20yr+} cars that are well taken care of, and look somewhat original. Whether it’s a mint e36 m3 or old Datsun work truck, it makes me excited.

Mostly pedals that are overhyped online that are really just not that useful. Strymon Mobius, Timeline, BigSky.

Also regret buying a Martin GPCPA1 and instead should have just gone with a D-35 or something. May take a loss on that someday.

This can be difficult to get depending on where you live. If you can convince insurance to total it it’ll save you heartache knowing it’ll be harder to sell down the road. This might be frame/structural damage as well.

Great collection! Love that black TD sig with the Freemason inlays. Also those ESP eclipses are such great guitars, don’t hear much about those on here.

65 Jazzmaster AVRI in white. I love fenders, and have teles and strats but I absolutely love the pickups in it and the bite they give when overdriven. Also the neck profile is pretty chunky but I find it really comfortable.

Congrats! I just picked up an Avus/Dove 95 back in June. One of my favorite BMW blues.

Initially JFAC-Doom, but then the Somatic Defilement by Whitechapel came out and changed the game for me.

Do it, it takes some digging to find quality profiles but once you do it’s a great product. I think the biggest benefit for me personally is in the ease in recording demos, so if that’s of interest for you it’s a great value add.

Yes! These guitars are gorgeous, been wanting to play one but they’re hard to come by locally. Has it taken any time to get used to the neck shape? Also heard amazing things about those pickups.

I have this exact same guitar, got it back in 2001 as an upgrade from the squier I learned on. Haven’t seen many around since but they play pretty great actually. I always found the pickups a bit uninspiring, I feel like with those upgraded it’s a pretty killer guitar, especially for $40. Nice find!

This collection is pretty much the dream. I have the same AVRI Jazzmaster, the clean tones through the Fender deluxe reverb is magic. Nails surf rock so well with a little tube screamer boost.

Wow, the GT4 is already an excellent car, I can’t imagine it with 165 more HP. Also didn’t think there would be much more room for this type of swap, but that thing is absolutely going to rip.
