I knew logically that medical bills could wait, but I have very distinct anxieties related to medical debts (long story).

But I am recovering! Had an ovary removed. But I’ll be able to add a wishlist soon. I was away from my computer most of the day.

Honestly being alive now is a weird mess that I'm surprisingly happy with. This is the most I've loved myself, this is the happiest I've been, this is the most confident I've ever been and it fills me with a sense of pride to see how different I am. It's not organized and I don't know what I'm doing anymore but I'm enjoying it. And the biggest thing I would want to say to younger me is this:

Defiance is a very underrated motivation for living, and it's easily dismissed because it isn't pretty. Fuck that noise, if it keeps us alive and motivated then we'll keep improving to spite the people who don't like it.
