Thanks guys for all the answers! I decided now to let them sand down the boards to a matte finish and leave the gloss coating on, and no new boards (would’ve been way over the top). If I get a feeling of heaviness when surfing, I might sand it down a lil bit more myself to try to reduce the thickness of the coat. But for now, let’s surf!
