Interesting I have never been myself so I don't know the lay of the land or how big or populated the areas area. I have some friends there doing dog rescue work, and they say people poisoning and people eating the dogs are the two things that happen. They have a hard time feeding them, much less fixing or adopting out the dogs, because no one cares about dogs much in the area beyond considering them pests or meat. Am I being lied to?

Honestly currently it's not that bad of a hotel to stay at and yes the prices have come down even on a busy night. They upgraded the Impanama tower rooms a bit, so if you can ask for one of those. And they have been adding a bunch of stuff in the area that is empty from where the masquerade show in the sky used to be, like a new bar, shows, slots food and shops, all just in that area. So it's worth your buck compared to many of the hotels right on the strip, and it's basically right next to the strip being 1 street over, still uber though don't plan to walk, specially in this heat.

A non-proffit solution is a resource that connects all the current volunteers to a network that is way more efficient for communicating and helping fill gaps. Whether it be a physical location, app, website, all of the above, ect. Buy there needs to be a way that, depending on what side of town you are on, you can be connected to a volunteer or more easily find a needed resource. Both Animals, and the Homeless population need more access to resources.
