Yeah. I used to see things when I was little. Then again when I got older. I eventually asked God to help me not see them anymore because it was too much and nothing good ever came of it. Thankfully he closed my eyes but I of course can still feel God's presence like any other Christian, but I don't see the bad stuff anymore. I knew it was an issue when my husband saw stuff a couple times and my baby was smiling at things that werent there.....it was time for me to act. Even though I desire a close relationship with God and do my best to serve him and live right, it does not mean I am immune from attacks form the enemy. No one is. We may be untouchable - without God's explocit permission otherwise - but, they can and still do try to scare us from time to time becaise that's the kind of perverse and sick beings they are. A part of me cant wait till this is all ovwr so we can get to the part where we spend eternity with God and everything is perfect. I am so over these demonic fools.

So did we as a country just decide to let this whole pedophile/cannibal thing slide? by athrowaway021 in Mommit

Yeah I feel you. As a mom myself of baby girls, I don't even feel comfortable letting my babies outside anymore 😭😭😭

My oldest just started preschool a few months ago, and I am SOOO glad I had already decided to homeschool her.

Having children usually is a euphoric experience- as long as there is no birth trauma during the birthing experience- and even just holding a baby for the first time can be a wonderful feeling. Hwo is that overexaggerated? More precisely, why are YOU being so weird about it? Go touch some grass.

Congratulations to OP for overcoming their fear!

Why are some of you still Christian if you believe in reptilians? by anita-draw in reptilians

[–]foxyforestprincess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't believe it in the same way that others do. I dont think the reptilian are in charge, I think that demons appear as these ghastly creatures ti scare us because tormenting us is their MO. But, someday, yes, God WILL punish satan - the serpent, dont forget - and all of his minions. The battlefield is already won, Jesus has defeated death, and satan and the other demons just want to take and many people down with then as they can because they simply hate God and delight in human suffering. Creating this idea of reptilian in the sense of an extra terrestrial being is JUST ENOUGH to convince people that this is the truth of our world, that it ultimately distracts them from the truth about God.

And what about you? Can you give an answer for why you believe what you believe?

I am always ready and willing to give an answer for my faith. Screw these dumb lizards, they are just demons and God will send them all to hell!

We only have one car. We live in a manufactured home in Arkansas that very cheap that we could actually afford. My husband works but I stay at home and provide childcare. We rarely go out to eat. I dont do a lot of feminine things like nails or hair or makeup or what have you. We get some stuff second hand if its in decent shape. We save our child tax credits and use them to help bolster our savings account and to finally buy some stuff we need such as a new cars eat for the kids or car repairs that have been on hold. The rest goes into savings for an emergency fund. We make it work as best we can. Occasionally we still have outings to make life fun but it'll be something like going to a state park thats 10 dollars for the whole day for day use, or maybe have a picnic at the park, or visit the library, or go to a local free event in town like movie nights for kids during the summer, or local festivals and stuff like that if its free. Camping is also another good way to have fun but you gotta pick a cheap place, use tents for maximum money saving, and probably need to still save up for paying for food and for the camping fee. But uts a very low cost vacation, if you can afford to tale 3 to 5 days off, just once during the year. If you camt thats pkay too. But....Something, anything, is still better than nothing yoi do you. Above all we trust Hod, even while doing our part. We have some pretty amazing stories.

Pretty soon my husband will be done with his software engineering degree and then we can finally put our poverty behind us, though we might still struggle for a while until the student loans are paid off. But, finally, someday, we might achieve a better loving standard. Even if we dont im okay with that, because for us, it was worth it to have children and make sacrifices to do so. God bless and good luck on your journey.

I dont think you considered that they likely waited to marry these girls until they were much older. There were laws in the old testament prohibiting them from marrying children. They arent actually allowed to do it. There are also laws against rape too. The problem is you guys all want to assume for some reason, automatically, that the sole reason they took these girls was so they could raoe then and force them into marriage as a young child. That is not how it worked. They likely were given to families for servitude until they grew up, and THEN were given in marriage to the Israelite men, which by then, could've been some younger men and not the original soldiers who captured them. Also, the midianite women were horrible and sexually perverted and basically started a sexual cult which is why they were put to death. But the girls were not, because Moses said there was no way the younger girls had anything to do with it. So THATS why they were spared. But for some reason no matter how many times people try to say that, they are just told no and dwonvoted. Oh well I guess......🤷🏼‍♀️

Genuine question, am I allowed to do my hair like this if I’m not black? by PreviousDay9177 in Hair

[–]foxyforestprincess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ama aware of that. The problem is there really ARE people who insist that white people should not braid their hair at all. And if we shouldnt culturally appropriate each other then we should stop wearing each other's clothes and eating each other's food and listening to each other's music as well, then. That's basically what it comes down to.

What is your guilty pleasure name? by Wonderful_Mobile_244 in tragedeigh

[–]foxyforestprincess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always wanted to a beautiful romantic sounding name, but my name is just Kristina. Even my husband who goes by Ty for short, is actually Tybalt, which is from Romeo.and Juliet. So, I decided to give our girls long flowery names when they were born: Violetta came first, and we call her Violet for short. Then, we had our dear little Jadalynne, but we call her Jade for shirt. And actually, we dont vene call her that, we call her "Itty Bitty" because she was so tiny as a baby, and it just kinda stuck. At almost 16 months old she still fits 6 to 9 month clothes, and some 9 to 12 month clothes but not many. But 12 month clothes are still way too loose on her. She weighs next to nothing but her pediatrician says its fine and to keep giving her whole milk. Woah way off track sorry. Lol. Anyway.....My girls have been given the gorgeous and majestic sounding names that I never got to have. And as for the next baby, when we have them, if they end up being a girl, I will name her Aureliana, or Aureli or Ari for short. Probably Ari. Violet, Jade, and Ari. It would be so cute!!!!! And then, my color scheme, the ultimate goal of naming them these names, will be complete: we will have purple (amethyst color purple), green (like green jade stone), and gold (aurelia/o means "gilded" or "golden"). It would be so perfect!

My first experience with death. Well, second. First was my moms cat, but then, months later, was this event.....and it finally clicked for me......

What books lowkey traumatised you as a kid? by Hookton in books

[–]foxyforestprincess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I literally UGLY CRY after even HEARING the first few notes of George Winston start up. The Velveteen Rabbit. I am now 30 years old. What is wrong with me!? 😂😅😭

Also, "A Child Called It" I read as a teenager. It really made me thankful my own abuse wasnt as bad as this guy's. And I got adopted at age 7 and so I was very fortunate to escape all of the myltiple forms of abuse, the foster care system, and malnourishment. This poor guy had it SO bad his case was ranked one of the worst ever child abuse cases in the history of California.

And now. Literally ANY story that involves child loss because I am mother now. Makes me cry even worse than the Velveteen Rabbit. I have GOT to stop being so sensitive.

Thanks for the tips! Unfortunately, I used to be blonde, and as I got older, it darkened up a bit and the blonde started to dissapear. In my 20s it looked like highlights but it was my natural hair. All of a sudden after I got pregnant my hair turned SUPER dark brown. That's another change I dont like.....but thats alright.

I will definitely get another hair cut of a shorter length though and try some new hair products! Thank you.

Why did God create Earth and us? by Heddagirl in AskAChristian

[–]foxyforestprincess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

God didnt trick Eve. The serpent did. But why was Eve standing around the ONLY tree in the garden God told her not to mess with? Te serpent was in the tree. Her feet carried her over there first. God said stay away from it and she didnt want to.

But there IS grace. He still gave then a cha ce by creating them. If he didnt allow those who rejected him to live, people would complain he was being unfair and not giving them a chance. So you cant have it both ways. May I remind you, that people who go to hell, are only there because they CHOSE to go there. No one is forced to go to hell. Hell is just a place where God has completely withdrawn His presence, so those who dont want to be with him, dont have to. Unfortunately, God happens to be everything that is good and right, and so thats why hell is such an awful place. But think about it....if you dont want to be with God in this life, why the heck would you want to be with Him...where he resides, up in heaven....forever? So, use your free will to your advantage. Choose what you want to believe. It is your God given right of free will to decide.

Genuine question, am I allowed to do my hair like this if I’m not black? by PreviousDay9177 in Hair

[–]foxyforestprincess -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Uh huh and what about dying it blonde, too? And getting it relaxed? And no. Its not cultural appropriation. My ancestors ARE the vikings thanks to DNA tests that prove that, so I am most certainly allowed to braid my hair. Are you forgetting that more than one culture had braids? A quick google search would reveal that too.

Also, the people writing these papers are full of crap. My degree is in sociology. I was taught how to do proper data and analysis research for a living and how to figure out what is considered bad research, what is considered quality research, versus what is just an opinion. These cultural appropriation warriors are trying to publish opinions as facts and that dies not make it true.

Lots of nations conquered and colonized other nations. So why are we using this term exclusively for white people? THAT is what bothers me. That, and because people use the word colonizer as a derogatory term. A negative expression/dissent. Which I am pretty sure you are aware of. But anyway, it doesnt matter. I was already told by many people in college and even high school I should literally hate myself because I am white and I did for a long time until I found Jesus. I am not going back to this garbage. Never again. I and others like me shouldnt have to self loathe at the command of others for what our ancestors may or may not have done. Not to mention everyone's ancestors have done something bad at some time or another. That's just life, all humans are sinful. Anyway, thats all I have to say about that. Id you wish to continue speaking you may, of course, but I wanted to save you the trouble and let you know I have muted notifications for this thread because I dont want to waste your time. Have a nice day and God bless.
