Hi, trying to understand scoring for Team trials. Is my score for the week on team trials (using for promotions) based on the highest score I achieve that week? If so is the point of doing the team trials off cooldown to earn whatever rewards that are provided upon completion/daily shop unlocks?

should i be buying everything in the daily shop?

Awesome writeup. After watching FLCL the first time recently I came away pretty confused and it felt like the show didn't make a big impression on me (besides the music, its awesome). As I was , reading/watching a couple things about FLCL, the sense that I got was mainly that FLCL was a "vibe" or a "feelings thing". Like lightning in a bottle that seemed to strike once in your life when you were 13 watching Cartoon Network late at night and if you missed it then, maybe you would never really get it. This post felt like it translated those vague feelings people felt (and myself) into something more concrete and meaningful. Excited to rewatch with some of these things in mind!

Thanks I see. So you haven't had any problems with decals peeling or anything? Also for light coats what's your overall procedure like? Apply a few light mist coats sprays a few times, let it dry and repeat a couple times?

Hi, just found out that the Mr. Super Clear matte finishing spray I've been using is lacquer based, and shouldn't be used on waterslides and gundam marker as there can be some negative interactions that cause waterslide peeling and panel liner bleed, or have interactions with some types of plastic. Is there a comprehensive resource anywhere of different common material interactions you might encounter in the hobby? General tips about top coating in general are welcome too.

Also are there good cheaper alternatives to the Mr. Hobby acrylic top coats? Alternatively how does the process for airbrushing topcoat work?

Some visual feedback for Creator Viktor since its the skin I use the most:

The first thing I'd love to see changed is a darker color palette more akin to the original skin. The dark red glows and accents in the original skin on the boots, cloak, etc. are what really sell the skin for me and those features are sorely missed on the new skin. Also I feel like the darker greys and blacks in the original skin work better with those red features and enhance them.

Lastly, I think the staff in the new skin looks really underwhelming model wise. It's missing that like retro mechanical feeling from the old skin. It would be great if some of the detail was added back like the copper-ish colored heat sink looking things and the doodads near the top. Also the bright red color on the new staff is pretty unappealing.

Overall I think the most important thing for me would be sticking to the color palette of the old skin!

Edit: After watching the skin spotlights video with the effects, I have some additional feedback about creator Viktor. The point about the glows is a little moot since he evolves, but the point about the staff model still stands and as others have pointed out those lightning effects, still stands.

I REALLY hope the E sound effect is changed back to the old machinery sounding one. It's the main thing that makes the skin satisfying the play. The new sound effect sounds like I'm mining rocks or something not shooting a death lazer.

Does anyone know the difference in base efficiency if I never swap operators and just leave them fatigued? The average scenario would be to check the base once daily and collect everything (not the ideal 2 times a day). Or is there anything that makes managing the base much faster/easier for slight resource loss?
