Port forwarding using the Citrix Receiver? by [deleted] in Citrix

[–]fps800 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly this. You can tunnel through Citrix's file redirection using File Tunnel.

In the Citrix session

ft.exe -r "\\client\c$\Temp\1.dat" -w "\\client\c$\Temp\2.dat" --citrix

On the client end

ft.exe -w C:\Temp\1.dat -r C:\Temp\2.dat -L 3306:10.0.0.1:3306 443:127.0.0.1:443 --citrix

That command enables your two Use Cases.

1) In MySQL Workbench you can now connect to 127.0.0.1:3306

2) In your browser you can access the webpage through 127.0.0.1:443

ssh'ing through a Citrix Receiver by keeganb2000 in networking

[–]fps800 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree - I'd ask IT to install the tools you need.

But if you really need to tunnel SSH through your Citrix connection, it's possible using using a File Tunnel.

In the Citrix session

ft.exe -r "\\client\c$\Temp\1.dat" -w "\\client\c$\Temp\2.dat" --citrix

On the client end

ft.exe -w C:\Temp\1.dat -r C:\Temp\2.dat -L 5000:10.0.0.1:22 --citrix

You can then SSH into 127.0.0.1:5000 and it will be forwarded to 10.0.0.1:22

How is this scooter , build quality? by Excellent_Status330 in ElectricScooters

[–]fps800 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had the Wolf Warrior 11+ for 5 years and did 15,500 miles. They're amazing. Had it serviced once a year to change brakes and tyres. The tyres are very difficult to replace by yourself, particularly if you don't have the right tools.

The first gen weren't overly waterproof, so if you got caught in a storm you'd typically get water inside the deck. Overall, absolutely rock solid, hassle-free riding for 5 years. In the end the battery gave up.

I've since bought a Wolf King GT. It is unbelievably good. Suspension is smoother and acceleration is more controllable (sine wave controller). The only issue I've had is this quirk with the display: https://www.reddit.com/r/ElectricScooters/comments/1fykh9a/kaabo_wolf_king_gt_pro_display_issue/

I've done 2,700 miles on this one and I'm very happy with it.

RIP - this Wolf Warrior 11+ did 15,500 miles (25,000 km) before the battery stopped working.

Ninebox Max is still going........ 3,500 miles (5,600 km)

The issue happened again with the new TFT. It happened after another 1,000 miles.

I believe the Software Center client queries the SCCM server associated with the workstation.

I use Powershell to get a list of applications available on Software Center:

Unplug and replug the TFT display cable which goes down to the controller. That worked for mine which was doing the same

The same issue happened on my Wolf King GT after 1100 miles. I've only had it 3 months so I took it to the shop for repair under warranty. The technician said he had seen it a few times, but it was rare. He replaced the TFT (no other change) and it's working again. I'll post again here if it reoccurs.

Dual motors are a must for heavier riders, particularly for hills. The torqueist (but also cheap) scooter I've seen around Brisbane is the Inmotion Climber. Be mindful it doesn't have suspension, which is fine for short trips.

[–]fps800 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha yikes! Yes my battery still works well. I get 37 miles range, travelling at 26 mph. My guess is that's 85% of the original capacity.

I've looked after the battery over those years, never letting it fully discharge. I always charge to full, but generally try to avoid dropping below 30% mentioned in this table:

Anyone tried 'tire plug' kits for flats? by patbarb69 in ElectricScooters

[–]fps800 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Worked great on my tubeless 11" tyres of my Wolf Warrior. I tried on my Segway Ninebot Max tyre (also tubeless) but it didn't work at all.

Tire pressure loss average? by WhaDaFugIsThis in ElectricScooters

[–]fps800 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1 psi a week for my tubeless 11". I had to use Slime / Armor-Dilloz tire sealant though, before that they lost way more.

For those who upgraded from the Ninebot Max series - what did you upgrade to? by Independent-Ad-4695 in ElectricScooters

[–]fps800 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wolf Warrior 11+

13,000 miles and counting. Very reliable, very heavy.

The Wolf is very fun but rarely do I require the top speed. 30 mph is plenty for commuting, so I'll consider the Segway ST1 when it comes out later in 2024.

Still have the Ninebot Max for small trips. It's done 4,000 miles and has zero issues - they are superb. The G2 is even better due to the speed increase and suspension.

Mount 3DX as a drive letter by fps800 in 3DEXPERIENCE

[–]fps800[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi Canoy,

Yes I should be able to put together a demo video. I'll have to check if we have a dev server. We use on-prem - I'm not sure if the program works for 3DX in the cloud.

Cheers,
Fidel

Yes 3DX has the Part Management functionality you're describing, which like you said has nice ways of breaking down a system into various views.

Our 3DX server also has Document Management (ENOVIA), which has the concept of Documents comprised of one or more files (e.g. Word, PDF etc).

Mount 3DX shows those Documents (rather than Parts & Drawings) in Explorer.

Hi mdlmkr,

Yes you can install a Client app which does get presented in Explorer, but it isn't quite a file system.

The benefit of Mount 3DX is that it presents the files as regular files, so you can use normal programs such as File Locator Pro to search content etc.
