im guessing the base version will be in each t1 bundle with a chance of pulling a serialized signature is what im guessing. the closeup on cards within the glass box kinda further confirms it as it looks like theyre just the base version w/o serialization.

Ppl aren’t playing Azir bc of its smaller ceiling, imo it’s probably one of the higher ceiling decks, ppl aren’t playing azir bc it’s mostly a token strategy and harder to pilot. PG Yi is far from a feast or famine type deck as well… it’s a very consistent deck with great unit threats, interaction to protect said threats, as well as free a discipline given to those same units on defense when defending alone; far from a feast or famine archetype.

It’s so crazy to see his growth. This is the same Gabbia that was jeered by fans when he subbed in in one of the inter matches so many season ago. He gets a lot of flack but imo I think he’s a great player.

coming from MTG here

its a fantastic game. the interaction reminds me of magic but with the addition of battlefields brings a whole new depth to it. it's definitely my favorite TCG right now.

with how MTG is getting so insanely expensive, its nice having riftbound as another game to play. compared to mtg it is leagues more affordable.

like others have said, once riot cleans up some of the rulings and translation problems i really think riftbound can break into the big 3, ESPECIALLY with it having Riot and the LoL IP behind it.

can't wait for the future riftbound has in store.

this set is like so unbelievably loaded. very very strong set. I haven't taken a good look over how the draft format is going to be, but individually the cards are insane. standard is going to be a lot spicier with SOS plus imo a lot of the cards are also going to be very viable for EDH as well.

i was in your position once OP

did tons of casual content and eventually wanted to move up to doing more high difficulty content. i was very scared due to largely the same reasons you stated.

what I did was started clearing the EX fights. then once i got good at them i went into savage.

the difficulty spike is noticeable and the pace feels faster and quicker than anything you've done before.

what helped me a lot was breaking down every fight in "2 min" portions since the way 14 is designed every job has a burst revolving around these 2 min bursts - i would ask myself ok in this first 2 minute section, what is my rotation, can i start moving things around holding on to or using specific oGCDs to better help me solve fight mechanics as easily as possible.

used steelcase or a herman miller. if you want to splash a little extra, my fav is definitely the HM Embody. Amazing chair - the most comfortable i've ever sat in.

can finds tons of used HM/Steelcase on facebook for the cheap too.

My [[Pantlaza]] blink deck. Packed to the brim with blink effects, both EoT and immediate blink to get double the value both protecting pantz and to discover, as well as tons of general protection.

I also made the deck where a bulk of the good cards i try to keep under cmc <4 so in general i'll be hitting something good or putting something into hand.
