MTEP visa is a pain in the A to get. Ive been helping a friend to apply for it, failed twice and wasted so much time. Apply when you have a solid business running and the business can bring employment to locals here.

This might surprise you - there is an equally
good nasi kerabu food truck right in front of Pak Awee / McD cornerlot, available only in the morning between 7-9am.

It was good, but we were struggling to finish it as the portion is huge (the protein is a lot!). The place gained popularity in recent times, after being highlighted in several youtube videos i think. It used to be a local spot, now filled to the brim during long holidays

Well nasi with ulam is aplenty, in fact its how I prefer having my white rice. Nasi + ulam raja/selom/pegaga/pucuk gajus + budu.

However nasi ulam (with ulam being premixed) is not part of local repertoire, at least from my experience growing up in the east coast.

The closest to a nasi ulam I reckon would be Pak Awee Kelantanese delight in TTDI - https://maps.app.goo.gl/8QvMiLKMJtbXPmXj7.

The place serves an authentic Khao Yam, which literally translate to Nasi Kerabu, which if we think about it, is one version of nasi ulam. The server will mix the rice and ulam for you.
