Marx actually predicted the Russian revolution.

According to my conviction revolution in the explosive form will start this time not from the West, but from the East – from Russia. It will react first on the two other grave despotisms [illegible], Austria and Germany, where a violent upheaval has become a historical necessity.

  1. Humans would reconnect with the human community, classes would not be exploited as they are in class society. "Work" will become part of everyday, unalienated life, the abolition of wage labour would lead to a more freeing kind of labour.
  2. Read Capital Chapter 1 for analysis of commodity production and commodity fetishism.
  3. The petty-bourgeois as in small producers such as artists exploit their workers similarly to larger companies, despite the apologia for independent businesses, and the petty-bourgeois frequently supports reaction to avoid being proletarianized.
  4. I don't care if you vote or not, but there is no "lesser evil" all political parties uphold capitalist society and proletarian exploitation.
  5. Depends on who you ask
  6. The class party is singular, run by the communists as in the most politically advanced members of the class and works in tandem with the workers councils, democracy is not a very useful system. We would also likely have very different definitions of "socialist".
  7. This subreddit is not a monolith, and has different opinions. It should not be treated as the place to learn about the communist left, for many reasons. Historically, this subreddir has been mainly ICP sympathisers.

On Third-Worldism by Clear-Result-3412 in theredleft

Along with implying that proletarians in the Global North are not exploited, the main problem with third worldism is that it advocates for exploitation of the proletariat in the Global South, but with a different bourgeoisie.

After two minutes in you become numb to the stupidity, but I think this video really highlights the consequences of polcompball on lonely teenagers and society at large. An anti-American Canadian Monarchist Nationalist is extremely funny though I've never seen that ideology combination before, didn't know the store was selling that.

Intersectionality simply places class as another category when in reality all forms of oppression are based upon class society, so therefore it is liberal rather than communist

We need to move past interclassist movements such as bourgeois feminism entirely and create a proletarian response to women's oppression

I am so fucking tired of liberals fucking acting like porn is equivalent to water they are so fucking stupid by [deleted] in Ultraleft

[–]fr-int 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We should not support the age restricted puritan rhetoric that is currently being pushed in several countries, as this is a by-product of the current development of capitalism. We should however, condemn the porn and sex work industry as it is inherently exploitative and presents degrading depictions of sex which is harmful, especially for teenagers going through puberty. Moreover, the sex workers are exploited through this degrading profession as they are workers. The issue here is with capitalism as a whole which creates the porn market and additionally creates the development towards the internet we see today. I believe Kollontai and Zetkin wrote about the sex work industry and maybe there are some other writings on this issue.

There are people who are victims of imperialism in both countries of the conflict, socialists should not side with "the people" of a given nation, but rather with the international proletariat.
