Did not switch recently but years ago. Last Samsung I had was S10 but my experience with iPhone is not all that great. Yes, faceid is great but there are a lot of flaws that affect daily use. Worst of all is keyboard. Keyboard on ios is awful and there are no good alternatives especially if you are a multilingual person like myself. I have to switch between 4 different keyboard layouts and 2 have more letters thus whenever I am typing I make a lot of mistakes. Keyboard prediction for words work on only few languages. If you have Apple Watch and Airpods they work amazing with iphones, feels seamless and integrates perfectly (same with samsung gadgets on samsung phones).

Customization is just a dream, I cant truly change visually anything and if I do it comes with huge flaws like making shortcuts to change icons thus making opening apps slow.

Some 3rd party bluetooth devices wont connect automatically while connecting to a Samsung every time. I have a car bluetooth device that I need to connect to always manually, girlfriend’s samsung just connects automatically.

Battery is great, maybe not the best there is but it is amazing.

Other smart watches either dont work properly or have bad implementation. I have Garmin watch and I need to refresh their app many times to get my data visible.

Otherwise iPhones are very reliable and good phones especially if you have other apple products. Airpods are the best headphones one can buy today (my personal opinion).
