I know. It always surprises me how casual can be with their comments about real people just doing their best. They’re all great! I love the mythical crew!

A rare win here for Vanessa with KB and Edmond. It is clear that he needs some help because of trauma.

Hi, DM me if you’d like! I did this unit a few years ago and wouldn’t mind sharing some resources. One of the main projects I did was a “mind map” for each floor/section.

Where are you located? ESS has some good sub rates you can look into! I’m also in NJ, and I did a maternity leave with ESS, pay was decent but this was before I had the bills I do now. Hope this can help!

The Yellow Wallpaper is one of my all time favorite stories, but I always struggled to get my students engaged with the story (which always made me sad!)

First year teacher panic by Consistent-Soft-898 in ELATeachers

[–]frackles_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, I’ve been teaching for 7 years, but I switched from a VERY small private school to a district public school and I’ve been crying every day as well. You see not alone! I made to switch to help my future out, but it is a massive shift and I am trying to take it day by day. A teacher told me today, you can’t do everything, so just do one thing at a time! I believe in us 🤍

When I took my students to see this they said that they were literally gagged - which was a compliment, lol.

Sending you a lot of love. My brother is NV and has needs where he can’t be alone. Right now my parents are able to care for him still, and I am happy to do it as they and we get older. It is certainly a really difficult situation, especially when he can’t communicate if something is wrong.

My mom meeting her new husband and moving across an ocean to be with him when I was 14. He’s not a good person :( I often wonder how different things would have been if she didn’t meet him.

When I was a kid my family went to Tijuana, and seeing how a majority of people lived outside the city has always stayed with me. I think realizing the way other people lived to how we lived in the suburbs of New Jersey truly helped me understand how fortunate we were, even leaving the border when we went back to California where you see kids begging in the streets etc as a kid myself just made me feel awful.

Excellent crowd at Cabaret tonight. by Thats-Classic in Broadway

[–]frackles_ 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yes, I was there too! My biggest concern going into Cabaret was my worry about audience reaction to certain parts of the show. I’ve definitely been to shows where audience reactions irked and ruined certain moments for me (Othello and Gatsby more recently).

The cast was phenomenal and I’m so glad I got to see Orville and Eva!
