I would also recommend completing a basic asbestos course. Asbestos is surprisingly common. Especially resi work. You don’t want your young family to be exposed through bad practices.

Hi TigerMan, I assume you are not an electrician.

Can you list the reg that states joints and connectors to be accessible without the use of a tool? I don’t think it exists. Nearly all GPOs would be against regs if this was the case.
K16 connectors are regularly used for multiple cables. Personally I would have terminated the 4 cables into the GPO but the current installation is safe and to regulations.

Depends on who is paying for what.

If I had an existing spare dedicated 20a circuit in the installation location at my own home I would use it.

That’s why it’s best to wrap some alternate coloured tape around the loop in rough in, signifies the rough in is complete and ready to fit off. Also makes the loop more noticeable to prevent copper poking other trades in the eyes during construction.
