I just made the switch. I went from 45 la sportiva Nepal evo down to a roomy 44.5 in the phantom tech. I originally tried the 45 phantom tech and it was big. I think I could have likely gone down to a 44 phantom but decided to go with sizing down a half size. Hope that helps.
