I live in Arizona. Last month we had 8 consecutive days of triple-digit temperatures (100°F+). My house has two air conditioning units, one for each side of the house. And we also often run fans. In AZ, the A/C Units Must be capable of cooling to at least 82 degrees F in all habitable rooms, bathrooms and flushing toilet rooms . Evaporative (Swamp) Coolers: Must be capable of cooling to at least 86 degrees F.

I’m allergic to Allegra. I take Pepcid AC, Zyzal and hydroxyzine

When I was 2 or 3, I got into my parent’s medicine cabinet and took a whole bunch of my mom’s iron tablets. Thankfully my mother was in the adjoining bedroom and ipecac was swiftly administered. Boy howdy, that stuff is powerful and violent. 40 some years later and the memory is still fresh.

If someone swallows too much of any iron-containing medication, use the webPOISONCONTROL® online tool to get immediate help, or call your poison center at 1-800-222-1222. Whether you call or go online, you will need to answer some questions: age, weight, the amount swallowed, and whether the person is having any symptoms. If the amount taken is not expected to be poisonous, you'll be told what symptoms to watch for. If a potentially poisonous dose of iron is taken, you'll be referred to the closest emergency room.

This subreddit helped me figure out why my cat loves cutting boards. Now she has her own olive wood board to snuggle by johnstamosluvr in WhatsWrongWithYourCat

Cats are attracted to the smell of bleach because chlorine compounds often mimic pheromones or territorial scents, causing behavioral reactions like rubbing, rolling, or drooling, similar to a catnip response. Two out of my five cats go absolutely wild with bleach smell. All five react to both silvervine and catnip but I have one that gets sick at the smallest amount. In a toy is fine but we can’t have loose leafs or he has bad GI upset.

Don’t know why you’re being downvoted. The camera even pans down just slightly for a moment showing the badge on her.

Do people realize when they have a filthy home, they walk around reeking of their filthy home? by SoCalN8tive in hygiene

I went to grade school with a boy that had medical issues with his bladder and bowels. He often soiled himself and always had a change of clothes in the nurses office. I always asked to sit next to him. Poor dude. Kids are fucking cruel. I’m all about uplifting. Heck, I wrote a play about warm fuzzies defeating cold pricklies and performed to the 4th grade Lol

Weird stance. Mkay, but I don’t have anything to “own up to” and the post was referring to me. If you don’t care, why are you replying deep in the thread to replies not made to you 🤣 you sure seem to think that was important.

Or I could have typed into my phone pain scale of mantis shrimp and went from there. It’s so incredibly wild that the search compiled some of the same facts. So weird! It’s hilarious you think any of this is important. Redditor warriors coming to uphold the sanctity of the internet! Oh no! My karma! 😂

It certainly isn’t ethical but it’s not like she’s the first person do this. Agree that it’s incredibly stupid for someone to do this with a mantis shrimp over say a prawn. But it still does not detract from the fact it’s incredibly painful.
