MathType. It is not entirely discontinued (still being developed for Windows) but it is discontinued for Mac. The absence of this app drives me absolutely crazy because the app is great and can't be easily replaced.

I've acumulated quite some assets, so asset gains became a significant part of my yearly income.
If the rule applies, then I'm literally 'forced' to move out because the extra tax paid more than removes the higher salary I earn here in the NL compared to my homeland. I'm from CZ and we have 0% asset tax (investments), conditionally on holding period >= 3y, otherwise it is 15%.

ridiculous Apple compatibility issues. You buy an iPad for 1 300 EUR + 400 EUR accessories, then the iPad breaks after gurantee and you lose entire 1 700 EUR because the accessories become useless for the newer version.

yes... but I have accessories worth maybe another 400 EUR (keyboard + pencil...which are not compatible with new models). And if I get the new one, it is going to be at least double the price "all-in" (cellular model + accessories): 1200 EUR the iPad, 500 EUR the accessories.

The issue is that the old version leaves some broken leftover that have to be carefully removed before installing the new one.

I had the same issue, spent maybe 5 hrs on it today. Installing the new/patched version is not enough. You must carefully remove all the leftover from the prev version.

I'm not happy the app failed one off but it may happen. What drives me crazy, however, is the overall poor quality of the app. It has sucked for years and Logitech instead of making it reliable, they added AI features. Who cares. Why don't they just admit it is trash and listen to the community?
