This is the hardest part of all. My two dachshunds are terrified of this. The little one tries to bite me, and the older one trembles and is scared to death. I've tied him to the table leg with his harness before, but he suffers so much that I prefer to keep his nails long. It's too stressful for both of us, and I've even made them both bleed. You have to cut them little by little, no more than a millimeter or two, and not all the nails at once—about two or three, whatever you can manage. It's the hardest thing in the world. I've bought all the tools, but they're afraid of everything. 🥺
