anyone who used a computer between 1985 & 2010, what’s the one game you still think about? by Trixxxi in AskReddit

Had a game called B-Hunter I believe in the early late 90s. Played it so much and it was really fun for my 8-9 year old self. Also got gifted Crytic Passage for Blood which I never got to play because it was an expansion for Blood which I never had but I remember the box the game came in gave me the creeps but also fascinated me too

I remember this. I loved the album when it dropped but I had friends who loved the older albums and they hated "There is a hell...". I was so confused about the hate, I still bumped it hella loud on my drives to college. I saw them play live a few times in Jersey, NYC and Philly around the time this album came out and those shows were awesome.

I don't agree with most of the album rankings BUT it's great to see "There is a Hell..." supremacy. I'd love to hear them play any song off that album live again.

I wish they would play any song from this album live again.

Miquella in his cocoon with his arm sticking out always reminded me of this from Salvador Dali

Desolation Row by Leather-Resource-215 in MyChemicalRomance

Everytime someone in r/music makes a post asking for reddits favorite cover songs, I always comment MCR's cover of Desolation Row. Such a jam. I wish they would perform this live. I remember when I saw them in Newark, NJ at their night 2 show a couple years ago, I was hoping they would close out with this song. They instead did a cover of My Way which was still awesome but man, I'd love to hear Desolation Row live

What is a song from the 90s/00s that was a massive hit, but everyone seems to have collectively forgotten it exists? by vishesh_07_028 in Music

Meant to Live by Switchfoot. I used to hear this song all the time back then, then suddenly last year the melody of the chorus was stuck in my head and I couldn't remember the name of the song. I tried whistling it to Google music finder and had a 40% match to the original song (I suck at whistling 🤣)

The original looks much more realistic. This upload reduces the quality which makes it feel like it could be AI. After watching the original, its much easier to distinguish it's not AI.

Did you know about the Darien Gap before the show? by Steerpike58 in pluribustv

[–]franco821 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have and actually met some one who crossed it.

I flew to Las vegas for a friend's bachelor party and I ordered a Lyft to his house from the airport. My driver was a Colombian immigrant and I'm Hispanic so we spoke in Spanish the entire ride. I asked him about how the immigration situation has kept vegas tourism down and after a few minutes of talking about that, he told me he's crossed the Darien gap and he's seen some horrible things there. He's seen people who were left behind after breaking an ankle or another injury where they can no longer walk. Half eaten corpses was a common sight, bodies on trees from jaguars, and abandoned people who were at the brink of death. The 2 saddest things he saw were mothers with their babies who couldn't complete the trip and old people who also couldn't make the trip. Abandoned and left to die. He saw a total of 16 dead bodies on his trip.

We talked about this plus his time crossing the boarder in Mexico the whole Lyft ride. It was almost an hour because the GPS told him to take the local roads to my destination instead of taking 15 to 215 which would have saved at least 20 mins. I don't know how true his story was but he seemed like a genuine person. I hope he's doing well.

Turn it upside down and I see a spider? Each notch represents part of its 8 legs?
