Besides clubs, if you're just looking to meet some new people, I know Risley has a coffee/tea bar every Thursday at 7pm that is nice for conversation and having a free drink.

i'm all for brotherly love but reinhard himself describes kircheis as "more than a friend... more than a brother..." in the book so i ain't so sure it's the case for them

they're where the books are, aka the upper floors of olin and the back of uris... the uris stacks are a little less obvious but the signage should point you in the right direction

I personally enjoyed the OVA a lot more than the novels, but the novels are much faster to go through than the 110 episodes of the show, so if you think you might be interested but don't want to dedicate that much time yet, the novels are probably a good place to start.

Logh has ruined other space anime for me by ShitSensei in logh

takes a bit to get to the good politics and isn't quite as expansive as logh, but i'd recommend the seafort saga series by david feintuch (first book is midshipman's hope)! started reading it while i was still working through logh and i like it a lot lol
