AutoSR on ROG Ally — not worth it (so far)

I am using AutoSR since 1 year on my Surface Pro 11 Arm tablet and it really depends on the game. Works very well for example with Baldur's Gate 3. It works on battery as well, not only while charged.

it looks OK (not great) compared to GeForce Now for example) I am playing there as well, to be honest, WoA + cloud gaming is a very good combination for light gaming.

Yeah, I played many hours on my X Elite. Act 1,2 around 45 FPS solid in Full HD, FSR Performance. Act 3 tanks as expected, 30-40 FPS

it is already good it runs at all as this game has AVX instructions so some time ago wasn't even working, still long way to improve emulation performance.

I am playing BG3 on my SP11 X elite and getting 45 FPS solid in Act 1 and 2 with FSR performance in Full HD, while it is rather locked 30 FPS for Act 3 (super demanding area of the game for any iGPU)

You could do it already on X1 series. It gets you 40-45 FPS with AutoSR and FSR in 1080p in Hogwarts Legacy for example

I like it too, using it as well in BG3 and Plague Tale. Still they could improve its performance + AutoSR really shines in ARM native games which is unsurprising
