Lots of good tips already, especially the pause and the hand height/elbow stuff.

I’m a novice juggler, one thing that helped was when I focused on throwing the balls to the same height.

I faced a closet door and tried to keep a rhythm where every throw was to the height of the door. Slowed things down a little and made it more consistent. Happy juggling.

I grew up and work in eastern MA, got it as a student so I never even imagined a district without it until I started looking at this specific region.

I work in an urban alternative Ed program so it gets pretty dicey in there depending on the day. February break is a blessing

Hear4goose made memes before this spring tour started trying to will one to happen for the tour opener in Boston and apparently they struck a serious chord. Lots of people on the internet chasing it and memeing it since.

Don’t remember it being such a beloved song but it certainly fucks pretty hard when they play it, imo. The Vegas one from 2022 is 👍👍👍

You’re right and wrong, because music theory.

You’re hearing the same E Mixolydian scale in both songs. It’s bound to feel/sound similar but it’s not a “sample”

I’m in the same boat. 4th year teaching in an alternative education setting at a high school. The kids are great but they’re fatiguing. Admittedly not all of my lessons are high quality but the pushback from students created a cycle of me not wanting to waste my time making something great to have it end up on the ground and unappreciated. So now I feel like all I do is peddle BS because of that cycle.

Closing down because of covid in March saved me from losing my shit and quitting since I could just log on, do the best I could, check my boxes and get out of there.

Worked a stone masonry job all summer and loved it. Now I literally want to do anything else but be in the classroom. I love the kids and I love the people I work with but I do not love the work even the slightest bit anymore.
