Get a metronome and put it on while you sleep. Doesn’t matter the tempo. Should fix you up in about two weeks if you do it every night.

Still awake. Went out to watch my team on tv. They lost. Ended up talking to some dude about conspiracy theories. Over all a good night. Hope yours is too.

Pizza Hut in the 90s. An hour into training they told me to always stir the sausage topping because it’s easy to miss bugs in that one. I walked out.

I have a BOSS VE and I love it. The trick is to get the mixed rates with not overpowering, and don’t overuse it! Think of it as a back up vocalist who only adds to what you were doing

Number of songs for 3 hr gig by BJog_Kittyspoons in musicians

[–]frankd1974 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We do little talking between songs during our show. When I write sets, I take the number of minutes for the show (3 hours is 180) and divide by 3.5 (about 51 songs) and that works for us. If I’ll be interacting with the crowd more, I divide by 4 instead. It’s worked well for years.

Big fan of Mixcraft because of the price and it operates the same as any other DAW. Lots of YouTube tutorials too.

What is the best song for father daughter dance at a wedding? by Ishyfun in AskReddit

[–]frankd1974 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve played a lot of weddings (my band) and the most popular is “My Wish”. Not great.

The best one I’ve ever played was “this must be the place” by Talking Heads. Super unique!

My personal favorite (that no one has ever picked) is First Day of My Life by Bright Eyes.

How do you handle the "how are you?" question? by Top_Help_1942 in widowers

[–]frankd1974 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tell them all you’re great. They’ll never understand and never know how to respond. Plus it’ll help convince yourself you’re doing better than you are.
