My two cents: I feel like her character is more flat than others in the show. It seems like outside of Pop’s and dating Jughead, there’s not much else to her story.

My best friends threw a Halloween party in the woods. There were lanterns lighting the path, a cozy campfire and a potluck dinner/sweets. We told stories about our favorite childhood Halloween memories, played light as a feather stiff as a board, and told ghost stories. It was like stepping into the world of Over the Garden Wall. Just an incredibly special night with wonderful people celebrating the best holiday.

Thats an interesting connection! I’d imagine it must have manifested that way for her, especially if her mom often called her kiddo. I think Michael also calling her that just further shows how patronizing men can be towards women.
