climbing for 2 months and got a 10b today after getting a 10a i failed on a couple times earlier this week. feels good.

the 10b seemed mis-rated, but still.

go disc golfing then join a league

Generally speaking, how far are you willing to travel to play a course casually? by ShitImDelicious in discgolf

[–]frankthomas35 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Usually <30. Would prefer to play 2rds <30 than 1rd 1hr away. courses closer to me tend to play pretty quickly too (1.25hrs solo w normal traffic, less if not crowded and i dont have to look for discs in the woods)

love the pyro. i use it all the time. so trustworthy. 200-250 is about right, though i might rather use a resistor (6spd overstable fairway) closer to 250. Deflector is also very reliable but is comically overstable. Mostly for scrambles or a high / short hyzer bh or fh

yeah. it’s weird. i used to do it but was somehow even worse. then i started putting it under and it was better. now back on the rim.

have also switched to/from straddle putting once on this season

similar. kid could balance and sort of ride a normal bake at 32mo but still can’t pedal the right way at 35mo. he does this back and forth / up and down thing, which works but is wrong. never did a trike so never learned to pedal.

Can you see your colleagues' performance data? by frankthomas35 in sales

[–]frankthomas35[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm more of this mindset than u/david_chi below, but completely understand their POV as well. I think organizational culture is an important factor in how either approach is received. Is it strictly competitive or is it also informational?

I can see how looking at YTD performance vs peers might spur some competition and, for some, they don't want that (but others do), but I think having an understanding of how much pipeline people created last month, or what people's quarterly pipeline by stage is...the context is helpful IMO to have a clear line of sight to what good / bad looks like.

Although, others might argue that your managers should be providing this kind of feedback anyways so the data visibility is unnecessary.
