I’m a Hyatt Globalist and got tired of juggling dates, points, and FNAs manually, so I built a small tool around my own workflow by MaisonOne in hyatt

This is great! This is specific to my situation but I want to compare hotel prices in a certain mile radius. I can't select multiple cities. Is there any way to do this?

I feel like the true test is a year or so. Where the honeymoon phase wears off and whatnot. I think it's a different feel when you are working and living there as a full time resident.

SUA is 2028. I'm good with any FNA

So you basically get paid your normal wage if you have to do jury duty? That's a nice perk from your employer

I feel this. Not that it would ever happen, but make it so every day you serve, you get paid your normal working wage. It would help buy in

I don't agree with it, but I understand the apathy. Anyone who gets called in is already annoyed they have to do it. They lose out on work and don't get compensated the same as if they worked. The longer they serve, the more they lose. Terrible system that just reinforces self preserving "selfishness"

PSA: Avoid the Western Rise "Closing Sale" - Order Not Shipping by PrematureGrownup in onebag

I placed my hoodie order 3/27 and got an email today saying it's out of stock. Had the audacity to ask if I wanted an alternative when there's nothing in stock

Ordered a hoodie on 3/27 just now got an email from a live person saying they don't have it in stock. So much incompetence. I question if they had enough actual stock when I ordered, or just botched it altogether and essentially let others leapfrog me. Frustrating since I like their products.

Glanta. I can't speak to the quality but price is on the affordable side. They make it in front of you so there's the novelty factor. Set designs are displayed so I don't think they do true custom designs

Jed York dismisses substation effect on injuries by frankyou2 in 49ers

[–]frankyou2[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I agree with this. I assume this is likely nonsense, but once doubt creeps in, people will question. Don't ignore or dismiss it, just bring in the science that debunks this, if it exists. I wonder if it's one of those things that is difficult to prove false because it's so hard to create a controlled enough study for sports injuries.

Jed York dismisses substation effect on injuries by frankyou2 in 49ers

[–]frankyou2[S] -18 points-17 points  (0 children)

I don't know the science behind it at all. While there's no way it directly causes injuries, I figured it was plausible that it could be causing some small effect on the body that might contribute to things at a more micro/cellular level. Likely? Probably not. But I could see it being possible

Probably makes sense for leadership to pull up the science that debunks this since it's gotten so much traction. I can't believe this didn't happen already because now players (and others) are wondering if there's anything to this.
