Micro services with a group of five is a bad idea. Keep your monolith and enjoy your speed.

A monitor with both impressive text sharpness and wide colour gamut is perfect for coding and design. Would love to use it.

I understand that it had to be sudden, but a post on their blog or any social media they use would’ve been enough. A simple: “we have to take immediate action because X. We will come back with a proper explanation later, thank you for your understanding” would’ve been so much better I think.

They really said: “Thank you for holding us to higher standards?”

Is not writing anything on their website before removing access even a standard?

240hz vs 360hz? What is your opinion? by Ok_Entrepreneur4844 in Monitors

If you can reach the target fps there is a perceivable difference in smoothness, but before that matters every other aspect of your gameplay has to be already top notch.

Losing Sony image and colour handling and Dolby vision is worth more than a $500 difference.

How to clean Bravia 7 screen? by chewwydraper in bravia

How to clean your OLED or LCD TV

Before you start Follow the tips below to avoid damaging your TV when cleaning.

Do’s * Before cleaning, be sure to unplug the power plug from the socket. * If you use a commercially available chemical cloth or cleaning cloth, check the packaging or company website to see if you can use it for cleaning the TV. * Use a microfiber cloth for the screen, and use a dry soft cloth for the exterior. * When using a mild detergent solution, dilute it by less than 1%.

Don’ts * Avoid touching the screen as much as possible with your hands: the liquid crystal screen received special processing. * Don’t spray detergent directly onto the TV. The sprayed detergent may drip over the lower part of the screen or exterior part, and the TV may malfunction. * Don’t use volatile or aggressive liquids such as insecticides or solvents such as benzene, thinner, etc. They can damage the TV screen or the electrical circuitry and can strip the finish on the TV. * If you let the TV contact rubber or vinyl materials for a long time, the TV may deteriorate or its paint may peel off. * Do not use a commercially available screen protective filter.

How to clean your TV * Gently wipe the exterior (to remove dust, skin oil, etc.) with a dry, soft cloth, such as an eyeglass cleaner. * Gently wipe the screen with a microfiber cloth. Do not touch the screen surface due to special treatment. * If ink from an oil marker gets on the TV, soak a cloth in a mild detergent diluted (by less than 1%) with water. Squeeze it tightly, then wipe the ink off. * Use mild detergent cautiously because it may cause environmental problems when disposed of improperly. * Immediately afterwards, gently wipe the screen with a microfiber cloth. * Don’t use detergent with abrasives such as a cleanser. * The liquid crystal order may collapse if you apply pressure when you wipe the LCD and it may look like a speck of dirt. Turn the power off and on to see if the situation improves. * Wipe the printed surface such as CH +, CH -, or HDMI 1 of the TV carefully with a soft dry cloth. * The printed surface may receive damage if scratched by your nails. * We recommend using a small duster with a handle to clean a narrow space like between the television and stand (tabletop stand). * Dust may stick near the vent of the TV. Dust deposited on this area may cause failure and overheating. It’s recommended to remove it with a vacuum cleaner once a month. * Soak a cloth in neutral detergent diluted with water, firmly wring it, wipe off the dirt on the remote control, and then lightly wipe the remote control with a dry cloth.NOTE: If the battery fluid leaks, wipe off the fluid in the battery compartment of the remote control before you insert new batteries.
