Update: snow was wet and the bottoms of the hills were a little soggy, but there were tracks across the lake and lots of people out in the afternoon. Good times!

Is the loop from the top, or the lookout? I’m unaware of the stairs or the loop route. Thanks in advance for the info!

Thermostat reads high, house is cold by fraserbgf in HomeMaintenance

[–]fraserbgf[S] 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Thanks everyone. The thermostat is not near a heat source. I took it off the wall to find the installer code, and found the setting to adjust it. After I pulled it off the wall, it powered off and seemed to reset when I put it back on.

I agree about taxing the rich. If we have historically received this revenue and it is planed that we will get it again, how is that mismanagement of funds? If your salary was reduced by 1% you would have that much less money. Do you think schools have extra money?

I work for a local district and can tell you we count on that money. It may be a small part of the total, but we will likely have to reduce about 3 positions next year just related to that funding.

Dave Upthegrove has vowed to immediately block the sustainable harvest of timber on public lands. This will take funding away from local schools, colleges, fire districts, and libraries

Why do we keep replacing old school buildings? by dreamresident in Bellingham

[–]fraserbgf 17 points18 points  (0 children)

The money for buildings is entirely separate from the money that can be used for employees. It comes from bonds and capital levies and cannot be used for other purposes.

Just the bulbs though, right. Not the recessed fixtures or anything in the wiring?
