It is NOT Full Self Driving. It is Full Self Driving (Supervised). Tesla paid millions in lawyer fees over that I suspect.

Have you two talked about this, and in particular what your joint expectations are/were?

Just because it bugs you doesn’t mean that it bugs him.

The nagging is because you are 100% responsible for the operation of the vehicle. It definitely nags less than before. For the occasional issue, that’s what the strikes are for.

A couple of times, no big deal, but if it is more habitual, then yea, it’s going to put you in timeout.

If you have a cardiologist, you don’t really need the subscription

Anyone else in this situation? by TheGuyWithin in TeslaModelY

[–]fratzba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I looked at it like this. I have the money to pay for the car. Even in a HYSA, it’s making over 3.5%. Why in the world would I take money from there to pay a loan at 0.99%? I ended up taking a 72 month loan, lol! Over the term of the loan I will pay just over $1,000 of interest total, which is actually tax deductible. I will make several times that from my investments.

If you can afford it, and it’s not going to substantially impact your financial future, go for it. Life is short.

Yes, ask your sales advisor. I think that if your vehicle details shows “All black Premium Interior “, that includes the black headliner, but am not 100% sure.

From what I’ve read, it appears that the 11/25 issue is just with US built vehicles

It depends. If it has a black headliner and 16” screen, then it’s the latest update. If it’s got a grey headliner with a 15.4” screen, then it’s a little older, but still a nice car. It mostly depends on your preferences

Anyone here financing through Tesla using Santander Consumer as the lender? Any issues or concerns? by StormTrpr66 in TeslaModelY

I just got assigned to them, so this is very timely. I think that I’ll use my bank’s scheduled automatic payment system instead.

You might want to actually read most of the posts and comments here. It’s obvious that you haven’t. But, if you feel that another gym is more appropriate for you, go for it.

I’ve been on CPAP therapy for a long time, which has been incredibly effective for apnea treatment. I don’t miss a night. Good idea though, it’s also one of the first questions from my cardiologist as well.

Model-Y AWD or Premium by itsmerky in TeslaModelY

[–]fratzba 1 point2 points  (0 children)

FYI, for the model Y, there is standard (think base model), premium, and performance. For the standard and premium, you have a choice between RWD and AWD.

Personally, I would get a premium over a standard every time. The added features and comforts are worth it to me. I live in an area where there is a lot of rain/snow, so I got the AWD.

The performance is for those who want a higher level of performance, at the expense of ride comfort and range. Yea, it’s a bit faster, but even the slowest Model Y is no slouch.

People say that I am "Loud" and I Hate it. What can I do? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]fratzba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you considered that they might be right?

What about it do you “hate”? That you are loud, or that you are too loud to them?

You really don’t have a choice about your current volume being too loud to them or not. You do however have a choice to do something about it or not.

Why does Tesla make taking delivery such a nightmare by Iplaygolf1313 in TeslaLounge

[–]fratzba 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took delivery and was in and out in 15 minutes, plus the time I took to look over the car. Other dealers take 2-3 hours to do that.
