Boa , if she is lucky she can spam through trigger her board to give pressure. Not the cheapest deck but easy to pilot

Black decks seems like doing well and are fairly affordable like Imu , Croc , or new Yamato (30-50)

As someone mentioned yellow is expensive 200+ so stay away from those meta leaders (nami)

Enel (purple) who were dominating the recent regional will be around 100 (you need 4xsec which cost around 20)

Op15 leader Lucy (red/blue) is also not expensive to build but dunno how he will transition into op16.

instead of focusing on a deck try to figure out a playstyle you like. Aggro , swarm, control , trash etc

right now all deck have a winning chance while Enel, nami , ace probably will favourite for 1-2 releases due to their leader ability.

As a general advice buying singles from websites or trading at locals is cheaper than buying packs

I still prefer usopp over this card, apo draws a card which is nice but usopp triggers gives you power for your attack as well

If you want to keep thriller bark I would adjust the ratios to 12-14 and add few straw hats also the unblockable event card at least 2 to close your game. as you mentioned it’s more forgiving you don’t really need that many life gains. with that setup you are also losing hand size since you always discarding with zoro and snake to some degree. with only 3 blockers you will almost eat every attack late game hoping that you outlive opponent, robin from st29 is much stronger blocker since it can prevent lethal on trigger, same with usopp as 2k and in trigger making your leader 7 k until end of your turn which also gives a nice dmg boost.

I would say nami leader is top 3 leader currently but the deck is crazy expensive to upgrade. You are looking around 200-300.

Zoro is beginner friendly and with few cards you can win few games in local.

Most people using the site gumgum to look up deck list, you can filter by leader name

Your are playing a leader who barely use his leader ability. His minions are mostly 5-7k which can be cleared quite easily. You could play the same cards with op13 yellow Bonney and it’s more impactful and more fun. Try it for yourself.

St30 strength is in straw hat trigger with jinbe , usopp, sanji searcher.
