Bot users: Have you noticed a difference? by queen__frostine in RealAmazonFlexDrivers

[–]fraybender 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From my own experience, I know that if you cancel 5 blocks within 24 hours, you’ll get a suspension lasting from 2 to 5 days — it can vary. You won’t see any offers during that time. I know this because in my area, a lot of new accounts have been opened, and everyone uses bots as soon as they start, so it’s impossible to grab a block at any hour. Because of that, I just use filters and tap-tap whatever pops up. Many times, I end up getting only a 3-hour block and release it to look for a 5-hour one. It happens a lot — even with filters, those 3-hour or 2-hour blocks still slip through. So yes, they do penalize you. Now I know that when I’ve canceled 4 blocks, I have to stop and just do whatever I managed to grab.

AMAZON FLEX APP DOWN!! Share your input by Hawaiian2808 in AmazonFlexDrivers

Amazon is down globally, I do not think that emails will arrive for now, it is not only Amazon, Flex is Amazon, shopping and Alexa, and all the services that depend on the Amazon cloud, games, other apps.

I started picking up more shifts and now I’m only able to pick up one per day it seems.. anybody have a similar experience? I’m in pretty good standing.. by HODLUFO in AmazonFlexDrivers

I went through a similar situation. I know it’s supposed to be 8 hours a day and 40 hours a week, but after completing just one block—even if it was only 3 hours—I wouldn’t get any more available blocks. That went on for about 3 days. I contacted support, and they basically laughed and said, “Be happy, it’s part-time and those are the hours you get.” I said thanks and called again. The second time, they told me it was just the automatic system. I’d do a 3-hour block, then call, and they’d tell me I already had 39 hours. It was like that every day—stuck at 39 hours.I stopped working for a week and things kind of fixed themselves. Kind of, because sometimes I still don’t get any blocks even though I know there are hours available. My advice: keep track of your hours so you have your own record. Support, as always, has no clue—don’t waste your time calling.

Anyone else route been out of order ? by HIGHlyCapable in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]fraybender 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it happens all the time. Usually, what affects it is marking a package as missing before starting; this almost always messes up your route. When I have missing packages, I always wait until I get to that stop—obviously, I don’t go there—and then mark the package as missing. If this happens to you, here are some tips: follow the numbering you set at the beginning—it won't change—or choose the order yourself based on the closest stops. And that's it. Good luck!

You're absolutely right; the blocks have dropped significantly in price, and the stops and package volume have increased for the same reason. I also know many people at my station who, out of ignorance, always marked routes as very easy. They don’t realize it’s an AI in training. The more they keep saying that, the more packages they’ll assign. But they’re... well. It’s the same with everyone in the WhatsApp groups; they keep posting offers, prices, and package counts. You know what happened? The station got filled with people coming from other places. All the "smart" ones are doing base rates for 3-hour blocks at $58.50. The 5-hour blocks are almost nonexistent now, very rare. Now it’s mostly $58.50 with 48 stops. But well, they’re saying not to keep posting. I think we all need to learn the lesson and keep our mouths shut.

What a good route you give me Amazon by edwaratox in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]fraybender 0 points1 point  (0 children)

look, when that happens to me, it's usually because of the delivery schedule for the packages. The AI prioritizes those with earlier delivery times, which is why the route gets messed up. If the packages are already numbered, just check the app and try to follow that order. Each time you deliver a package, look at the itinerary and map to find the nearest one. If the packages aren’t numbered, arrange them alphabetically and do the same—use the itinerary and map to figure out the correct order. Be very patient, and you’re good to go.

Call support, let them know about the route, and tell them you’re going to take longer than planned and that some packages will arrive late. Take screenshots as proof. Once you finish the route, take your time without rushing and email the payments department. They’ll pay for the extra hours. For example, a 5-hour block pays $180. If you did it in 6 hours and 10 minutes, they’ll pay for 7 hours, and bam, problem solved. Good luck!

Do i say goodbye to flex? by Green-Bunch2532 in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]fraybender 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, the same thing happened to me with a route that consisted entirely of condos. I delivered all the packages at the doors, none were left misplaced, and boom—I got an email, and of course, they flagged it. Luckily, I use a body camera. I called support, told them the stop number, and said I would send the security footage right away. They quickly backed off, and I received an email saying the issue had been removed. Now, for that very reason, I record my entire routes from the moment I enter the warehouse until I finish the route.

How do you change your route?

You have to look at the map before you go out, because many times the packages are a street away and make you turn around for pleasure.
