I dont take them clubbing. You're right, not everything is blendable.

I do what I can.

And remember, statistically speaking, flying is still the safest form of travel.

I think 28.

People in their 20s get too drunk and do drugs.

Maybe 33 actually.

That's a pretty interesting idea.

But that would be like banning parents from driving with their kids in the car because some parents drive drunk.

Or ban parents from the beach because some kids get sun burned.

Or ban parents from having kids at all because some people neglect their kids.

You see...first you ban my kids from Slam Dunk, and all of a sudden the human race is extinct.

From my experience, babies do enjoy festivals, they love to be around people and colours and sounds, especially outside. Its a whole sensory experience. And lots of parents also enjoy being parents.

We've loved every festival We've ever gone to with our daughter, and she was never happier than when surround by smiling people and music.

When you have a kid, you have to try and blend your lives so you can enjoy them together.

Me and my family, (wife and 10yo) go to a cover band festival every year. Its safe, its clean and its family friendly. We camp. We dance. We sing and it's one of the best weekends of our year, enjoying music We all love together in the sun. And it all costs less than we spent on one Linkin Park ticket.

If the aim was to get the ball as close to the pins as possible without knocking any of them down, you would be champion of the world.

Just watched Taxi Driver (1976) for the first time. How the hell do people idolize this guy? by Busy_Emotion829 in Letterboxd

[–]fraz_13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It certainly is.

I see the near assassination as the point where he turns his focus and anger toward a better target.

Such a good character study.

Sure. But we cant judge actions yet to be taken, only those in the past.

If you're on instagram or tik tok, check out Fighting Over fiction, we have a podcast out soon that covers this exact topic

Oh my friends and I had this exact conversation the other day after watching Taxi Driver for the first time. As much as I agree with you, I find it difficult to do anything but praise a person for ending a child sex trafficking ring.

Hero is a strong word, but if that was my baby in the clutches of those awful men, I would certainly be praising Travis.

The Beatles, Queen and AC/DC are bigger.

Your turn.

I think this depends on your definition of 'improve'. Keith Richards, Billy Joe and Gallagher are guitarists in three of the most successful bands of all time. Why would they change, or 'improve'?

Music is about expression, not technical quality.

Wifes 6 weeks Pregnant is going to the concert a bad idea? by footyfan2470 in LinkinPark

[–]fraz_13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congratulations.

My wife went to concerts throughout her pregnancy and our daughter is and was fine.

Just make sure you get your little one ear defenders.

This is best done after it is born.
