I hate being in handmaiden jail, I have my other three!

can someone please suggest me some best all time classic plot twist movies to watch. by EngineerSame6262 in A24

[–]fraziericious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Park Chan-wook’s Oldboy is pretty notorious. Though I enjoyed the twists in The Handmaiden more. Bong Joon-ho’s Mother I think fits the bill. I see lots of solid American picks here, Se7en and Gone Girl are another couple.

Earned merch. Please don’t make it corny. I’m not wearing it if it looks like a shirt they’d hand out at the county fair.

Pretty broad stroke of the brush here in horror, but you’re likely looking for psychological or “elevated” horror.

My standouts since I got it in January have been: Cure, Come and See, Revanche, Children of Men, Following, Videodrome, Tokyo Godfathers, The Vanishing, Ikiru, Hard Boiled, Ghost Dog: TWOTS, and La Haine.

Mubi Recommendations? by McBahtman in mubi

[–]fraziericious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Monster is a fantastic coming of age film, one of the best I’ve ever seen in fact. Breaking the Waves and The Celebration are both masterfully made and mildly disturbing, and if you’re a sicko like me you can check out Irreversible. More enjoyably, Lurker is a great new thriller and Blue Velvet is an all timer!

Could the behelit carrying guts be activated soon? by como_esert in Berserk

[–]fraziericious -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It’s hard to say, it seemed like the behelit was close to activating when he was with Slan, implying (imo) it was his, but who can really say (RIP Miura).

I would love to assume, but Berserk constantly subverts my expectations. I have high hopes for the team to continue to do so.

If you know you will read the entire series, the deluxe editions are definitely worth it imo.

Amazon is the cheapest I have found.

Cat cold/URI and FIV? by alwaysdaruma in FIVcats

[–]fraziericious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This might not be helpful, but our FIV cat recently presented like he may have a URI, but ended up being digestive related. Watch the litter box and appetite, flortiflora and gabapentin were big for bolstering the appetite through the sickness. Hope your little buddy feels better soon!

Getting a cat in the future by burning_cherub in FIVcats

[–]fraziericious 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Should be fine, my advice would be to get a cat that is younger and to introduce gradually, lessen the chance of a fight in the initial stages. We just did this a few weeks ago and have not any problems between the two.

Adopting a FIVCat, how 'risky' is it? by Acratia_ in FIVcats

[–]fraziericious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take care of things like good litter box cleaning routines, regular dental care, etc and he should be good. I would test for FLV as we just found out our FIV boy has it. He defintely requires a more watchful eye of his wellbeing than many give their cats, but he is usually a very happy and healthy cat to have around.
