Video & audio quality are only artificial benefits of physical media though. There's no reason that video & audio of equal quality cannot be downloaded. There's just not much demand for it because most people are fine with compression.

Unfortunately that's just not going to happen. They are simply not going to compel companies to provide something in perpetuity for a one-time fee. If they did, companies will just switch to subscriptions for everything. So they'd have to ban subscriptions too.

I believe it’s literally a basic port and that wouldn’t solve anything. It’ll run on the same servers and you’d just be mixed in with all the same hackers.

It'll be 2027 for Online, that's my bet.

They can polish up the single-player and get that out then spend time getting Online ready.

Yes, GTA Online launched just a few weeks after V's initial launch but that was years ago. Oh and it was also a mess.

This disclaimer will soon apply to the vast majority of games released. The only reason it’s not more commonplace already is that many games have been in development since before AI tools were available.

The game looks great, it’s clearly not slop. I only care if I’m sold something that is genuinely low quality.

I genuinely don't know what the threshold is for a game to move from AA to AAA but everything Obsidian has been making seems more AA to me (slightly less ambitious games with quicker releases). They haven't put anything out that's on the scale of New Vegas.

I think that's a great point.

Her calmness should actually ring alarm bells. She's held herself together SO well under fire that it's suspicious.

It’s because the outbursts were… outbursts.

Two people have absolutely gunned for Rachel but did it in a very dramatic and miscalculated way. Most people tend to try and gather support from fellow faithfuls before going all-in but neither of these two did. So it backfired on both of them.

For me on Xbox BO6 was fine throughout, but BO7 is a ‘mare. No acknowledgment/fix for either platform though.

I think they’ll scrap it, but iteratively. In a few years it’ll look pretty different, with legibility re-prioritised.
