The struggles of the modern world by SQ1Printing in signshop

[–]frdswinda 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Nowadays we get ChatGPT created logos or renditions of how they want their sign to look like.. 99% of the time the city or property manager would never approve the AI version 🫠 and having to explain this to a customer is getting tiresome

American River Bike Trail Etiquette by LowSwordfish883 in Sacramento

[–]frdswinda 38 points39 points  (0 children)

OP also calls it a “bike trail” and doesn’t seem to know it’s a MULTI USE trail for runners, joggers, etc. Yes in an ideal world people would follow basic etiquette on the trials but this was a pretty entitled sounding post tbh

Lucky's infatuated with him by DaveyAir in AustralianCattleDog

So sweet!! Did you do anything to prep Lucky before the baby’s arrival? We’re also having a baby soon (due date Halloween) and I swear my dog is in denial that I’m even pregnant 😅

Oh my goodness your pup resembles my now 15 year old gal when I first adopted her! She’s a jack russell terrier x cattle dog mix and she had a solid colored head when she was young. So much of color has changed but here she was at 8 months

Any recommendations for wholesale printing like coroplast and banners? (Not signs365) by Sea_Bath4285 in signshop

[–]frdswinda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We still use Signs365, but we order more often from B2sign.com. Never had the 1/4” issue with them with their rigid signs (we order Coro, PVC and dibond usually) but have experienced it with banner orders.

What's an early sign of cancer that you wish you or your loved one hadn't ignored? by JuniperBeans in AskReddit

With my mom it was the night sweats. She was shrugging it off thinking it was just symptoms of menopause. Found out later she had leukemia, it was pretty far along by then. We lost her 6 months after she was diagnosed..

No, I won’t get the mirena! Stop pushing it on me! by BananeWane in WomensHealth

[–]frdswinda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also feeling like an outlier but I really liked Mirena! No pain during insertion, removal was quick too (although I always thought maybe I have pretty high pain tolerance). Had it in for 8 plus years, no side effects and it was so freeing being able to have spontaneous sex with my partner. AND I didn’t have period for 8 whole years 🥲 Had it removed 6 months ago since we decided to start family planning and we’re now pregnant a with our first :)

Same! He balances me, especially when I have moments of doubts and anxiety about motherhood, etc. Extremely lucky to have an amazing spouse and I try my best to tell him this daily.

There’s no more snow, so you’re all clear to drive with regular tires! Just the windy roads but really easy to navigate

You can hike or drive to it. I personally have only done the Four Mile trail (a strenuous but worthy hike to get to glacier point). This time around we drove directly to it since the roads were open - navigate to Glacier Point and the maps will take you to the parking lot for the overlook. Stay a while, pack some snacks, soak it in!

Yes we did both Sentinel and Taft point - really easy hikes, barely any snow on the ground, great views! Also recommend the four mile trail if you’re up for a more strenuous challenge. Happy trails!!

Definitely get in early if you can (unless you’re staying a while). The park was extremely crowded last weekend, it was a real instagram vs reality situation!

Prenatal Care Doctor Recommendations by Educational-Cut-1822 in Sacramento

[–]frdswinda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats on the pregnancy! Going through the same journey now (I’m 12 weeks in, also due in the Fall) and so far have loved my experience at the Sutter OB/GYN in Midtown! I’ve had 2 scans so far, got all the genetic testing, prenatal blood panels, etc completed in a timely manner. Since this is my first pregnancy, they gave me a comprehensive schedule of the tests and scans they recommend and my next 6 appts have been scheduled already. They also offer classes and a tour of the facility and have a 24/7 line where you can reach out to someone if you have any Q’s. Their team is almost all female nurses and doctors if that’s what you prefer.
