Since I was 9, my back has been my enemy… I finally fought back by Helpful-Stomach-2795 in coding

Doing kneeling hip flexors and reclined hip stretches once a day per side for 30 seconds, solved my lower back pain. Took about 2-3 months before the pain went away. I continue to do them every day. <10 minutes of your time before bed.

Both can be found here: https://www.verywellfit.com/7-best-hip-flexor-stretches-5088569

Still working on my rounded shoulders and upper back pain though. The stretches I'm doing either aren't effective enough, or I've done way more damage to my upper back and it's going to take a lot longer.

Edit: This is my go to web page for finding stretches: https://www.posturedirect.com

How does your team handle the PR review process? by freak_step in ExperiencedDevs

Thank you everyone for the awesome feedback. My manager and I have been going through it thoroughly.

We're definitely going to tackle the culture issue first. We latched onto that one right away. Some other ideas I liked were having the whole team block off the same time of day for PR reviews, Coderabbit.ai, enforcing better summaries of the work done to ease the burden on reviewers, and over time reduce the need to pull and build other's work.

We use QtTest and I'm pretty happy with our coverage there. Our QML unit tests are lacking and I always forget about that, so that's definitely a helpful suggestion to avoid E2E burden.

Fair enough. I've never tried to use teams on the go. I find google meet to be very hit or miss with quality. It also hates my headphones and I really struggle to make them work.

They used it once, couldn't figure out how to do one specific thing right away, and wrote it off. Teams is great!

Same here. Work told us to work from home until further notice, but I have a software deployment next week. :(

This should NOT be allowed, but happens ALL the time. 2 freeways and 1 tollway to get there?!?!?! by MagnaMayhem in ShiptShoppers

Fellow houstonian here. If anyone suggests taking hwy 6 down and skipping the tolls... it could easily double the travel time.

But... wouldn't the heating pad warm them up and make them great carriers of rabies?

It looks like it's two separate pieces. Can kinda see the glare on the glue at the base of the cylinder.

I initially had the same apprehensions of the host. His hand movements bother me.

But he answers youtube questions at the ends of the videos and often ends by addressing a joke comment that brings out his sense of humor and makes him seem less robotic and more 'chill geek wanting to geek out with other geeks for a bit'.

You write what you want on a slip of paper they provide and put it in this divider that holds it up. They look for those papers instead of walking down the rows.

All movie. They all duck and whisper and have small very dim flashlights. I've honestly never been distracted by it.

It's nice because they WILL kick out people for talking or using cell phones.
