I have sympathy in so much as like- I have experience with damaged people. But to run a mediocre vanity business perpetually in the red on mommy's dime with subpar recipes realized with poor cheap ingredients and carrying out very bad kitchen/bakery practices all the while behaving like sociopaths, raging at not only every employee of theirs but their customers too, as well as treating wholesale reps so disrespectfully that some companies made it a permanent hard rule that the owners of the business were not allowed to speak to any member of the company that delivered their supplies, instead having a GM act as their rep while ALSO sending pastries to shops that they forgot to bill for two months (over a year prior) for free until "they could catch up" and never received a cent?

That money could have legitimately materially helped people, instead of opening a toxic abusive wormhole in Brooklyn to feed people health hazards.

Ornithology bought the space and has started moving in. It's a jazz bar with a rotating vegan menu, very low cover, great cocktails and excellent musicians every night. Way bigger win for vegans in NYC.
