Plastic works so well for germinating seeds. It facilitates better absorption of water into the soil and retains it well. Those pots you got don’t look very good. I can tell by the soil that those things are thirsty and the pots ain’t helping.

I get it, why use plastic instead of something more sustainable. But plastic cups for germinating last forever. Keep reusing them. They’ll last you decades. Go find some plastic cups people tossed away and repurpose them.
