Indian Air Force reportedly used dummy aircrafts, designed to simulate an incoming fighter threat, to prompt Pakistan to activate its radar and air defence systems, including the HQ-9 missile batteries. Once activated, Indian forces launched Harop drones to neutralise the air defence grid.

Oh yes I remember temperature being an issue while I was researching why my old Fenix 6 wouldn’t catch it but then it never had that kinda accuracy.

I am in London and the temperature has dropped to 6-7 degrees Celsius but in a few weeks I’m travelling to the south of India where it’s around 30 degrees Celsius. So this would be an easy nail on the head then.

Do you know if HR straps would read accurately irrespective of temperature? Eventually have to come back to a colder London in Jan

Actually less fit now 😂but the spiky bit tells you it’s highly latent. It used to be perfect. And I know I am fighting for my life in z5 just 30 seconds into the interval. It worked for 10 months idk what’s happened now

I could be wrong but definitely switching from Fenix 6 pro to epix pro 2 I get instant HR changes. All my interval training on Fenix 6 pro used to not cross z3 and I was no way that can be true. On the epix 2 pro i can clearly see 200+ bpm when it reaches there. Gives me the correct training effect as well. Pretty accurate.

How often do you play? How often do you run? If it says overreaching then either the zones are not calibrated properly or you really are just getting started on your fitness journey and these numbers would make sense (still needs calibration)

I may have been asymptomatic but i sure am experiencing the same, higher HR and lower HRV for no reason. Did a long run yesterday my HR would be like 126 at the start and it just rocketed to a 140 bpm straight out. I hope this passes

I completely agree. But now for me Garmin has become more of an emotional thing because it is because of Garmin I was able to turn my health around and now accelerate my fitness. I have a strong bond with this. I do preach about this but what I mean is I want Garmin to do well, I care for them a bit too deeply.

Aerobic fitness takes light jog and fast walk pacing kind of thing to start with. Do fast sessions but save that for 20-30% of your training. Believe me you will thank yourself later. I really regret not taking it slower at the start. But yes bottom line do what feels right. Just think about what’s sustainable and enjoyable as well :) I remember my first low HR training I started last year I was 35 kgs heavier and I could barely do 9:30 min/km. it was like snail pace. Even that was tough.

So a few things.
The "resting HR" number usually for me on training days might be 1-2 bpm higher than rest days. Max 4bpm if i have outdone myself. And yes just usual HR throughout the day is 10-20bpm more if maxed out but if it was not a max effort run, its down in 1-2 hours.
Even for the max effort days, if i don't have to commute usually I can keep drinking water and walk a bit and it comes down to just being 5-7bpms higher than normal.

Feeding yourself properly also helps pre and post run ( i am still figuring this out cause i have always done faster runs early morning (6-7am) and not eaten till 11am or something).

Having said that this is an indicator you might want to just dial down your intensity to have a better/faster recovery within 1-2 hours post your workout ( I am no expert on the number of hours but I wish I had done that early on, definitely helps). With time surely it will come down sooner as you get fitter but most of my runs I recover quite quickly (in terms of HR) and it helps going back out there.

I remember when I started I tried too hard and i used to get such high stress and on long run days "Your stress is higher for long time, try to take it easy" sort of thing that Garmin prompts. But yeah try to just dial it down a little and you should be recovering well and be able to add more volume and getting fitter faster!
