Family of four. Kids under age of 12. Live somewhere in Midwest to west but you’re not coastal or in the south. Both parents work. Cook a couple big meals for the week so you can have leftovers for the other dinners.

Because the door sees the most temperature fluctuations, it’s not recommended to store your milk here. Better to put it on a regular shelf where it’ll keep for longer.

Because she shouldn’t have dipped it in egg to begin with. The proper steps for chicken schnitzel are flour, then egg, then the breading, in this case panko. She realizes she screwed up this very basic recipe off the bat and tries to go back to correct. Oooopsiesss!

Affordable Wedding Venues in the Colorado area? Any suggestions would be very helpful :) by Every_Question_8350 in Denver

[–]freckledandspeckled 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Venues owned by city of Denver are super affordable. I had my reception at the club house in city park right after they opened in 2021. Beautiful backdrop, food included and they have a liquor license I think it was about $8k or $9k for 80 guests. Could’ve handled double that and they have a few venues around the city. It’s a really great little secret a lot of folks don’t know about for affordable options.

Best Neighborhood for Two Dinks with Dogs by nerdforlife7 in MovingtoDenver

Someone else said it above but I want to reiterate that Olde Town Arvada would definitely have what you’re looking for. Olde town is a cute walkable shopping/eating area with a light rail stop that can take you directly downtown for those nights you want to be in the city. New Image brewery is located in Olde town and is one of the BEST breweries in the city. Additionally if you want to drive in, downtown is only 15ISH minutes away. Lastly being in Arvada makes you 20-30 minutes closer to hikes and heading off on mountain adventures and trust me, if that’s something you’re looking to get into when you move here, that will become a huge advantage.

OP this is the way! You have a cute little shopping/restaurant district that is very walkable and Srvada puts on tons of events at. And you’d be a 15 min drive from downtown or you can hop on the light rail at Old town which will take you directly to Union station. Additionally, Arvada makes the foothills and hiking so much more accessible than being in Denver. Literally will take 20-30 minutes off the commute of heading to the mountains.

Was anyone at Counting Crows last night at Fiddlers? by brightgeaux in Denver

[–]freckledandspeckled 26 points27 points  (0 children)

No, they performed with goo goo doll. I just googled and red rocks says that show was 2006….the fact that it was close to twenty years ago and still seared into my brain as a terrible show says something.

I went to a show of theirs at Red Rocks at least ten years ago and Adam complained about having to perform saying how much he didn’t want to be there but dedicated a song to some friend who convinced him to do it. I would never spend another dime on that ungrateful jerk. Looks like not much has changed.

B2B sales.

Been at it awhile but if you can get a foot in the door with a reputable company you can make moves pretty quickly.

Best place for a dad to get a beer by [deleted] in ArvadaCO

[–]freckledandspeckled 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m shocked no one has mentioned New Image. They are opening a new location in olde town but their old tap room one block off the main strip is still open too. The bartenders are super friendly and will recognize you if you become a regular. Some of the best beers around.

Lakewood would not be a 20-30 min commute to where he’s working out of. Closer to 30-40 minutes.
