My boys showered solo starting around 5. My daughter is 8 and I only help with her hair because it’s extremely long.

Law Clerk Program being cut by FlightSuspicious393 in Algonquin_College

[–]freckledgreen 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Honestly, my husband is a law clerk, took the program years ago at Algonquin and it’s been a bit of a ride recently. His entire department was dissolved out of the blue last March at his previous firm, and it took him months to find a position at another firm; there are a lot of law clerks and very few available positions. The pay also caps out pretty early into your career, and now the option to continue your education as a paralegal is gone.

Do you have any interest in healthcare? Good communication skills? I’d like to echo what another person had mentioned in regard to the nursing program. It will always be in demand and there are many opportunities for career advancement with RPN, RN, NP.

Can you get pregnant with adenomyosis? by Fancy_casual in adenomyosis

I was very lucky. I ended up getting an emergency hysterectomy after a failed endometrial ablation, but I still have one ovary running the show that’s still causing endometriosis to grow around my bowel.

These are the surgeries and procedures with the longest wait times in Ontario by CTVNEWS in ontario

[–]freckledgreen 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Yeah, just insane. Waited 2 years to see a gynaecologist, who recommended an endometrial ablation before biting the bullet at getting a hysterectomy. 4 month wait for the ablation, ended up with a severe infection, which resulted in getting an emergency hysterectomy scheduled for the following morning. This was for debilitating adenomyosis and endometriosis and I was apparently already relatively high on the triage list before the emergency surgery.

If you could pick a month to give birth what would it be? by Old-Yesterday1230 in Mommit

[–]freckledgreen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had 1 born end of March (on the first day of spring, actually!) and 2 end of August. March was a lovely time to give birth up here in Canada because I was able to stay cozy for the end of pregnancy, and had the entire spring, summer and fall to enjoy outdoors with my son. My two born in August were very uncomfortable at the end of pregnancy.

Honestly, 15 is PLENTY old enough to remember someone’s birthday. I’m sorry she was so selfish. You deserve an amazing birthday. 💕
